SEEMORE AND CLOUDIA GIRAFFES

Well, my second Challenge for today is from A Spoonful of Sugar - Challenge 14 - "3 Different Ribbons". I have made this Baby Girl card, using Spiral Whisper stamp called "Seemore & Cloudia", which I have stamped onto some "Dotty" paper, and then cut out each image. I have coiled up two pieces of Jewellery Wire, and the made two "Springs" one for each image. I have used a Pale Pink pearlised base card, and stuck some Pink Linen effect backing paper on-top, and on top of the pink paper, I have used a Frame from Funky Fairy's Paper Collection CD called "Pinkie Pops". The frame for the sentiment was also from this CD, and the actual sentiment was typed on my computer (took loads of tries before I could be the words in the right place!). The card was then finished off with placing the "Springs" underneath the sentiment and pulling the springs down to the desired position, and covering the ends with these lovely Pink "Dotty" Bows. The THREE ribbons used, are 1 - Down the left-hand side of the card, and 2 - Across the top of the card.

Thanks for popping in, and please come back and visit very soon! Happy Crafting x

SUMMER ICE CREAM

Hi everyone, hope everyone is well! I have had a lovely day cardmaking, and in between doing a little (very little) housework. Well today I have managed to complete two Challenges again, and here is the first one.... This Challenge is from
Arty Girlz Challenge - Challenge No. 49 "Summer". Now when I think about Summer, I think lovely walks in the Country, and eating Ice-Cream, and this Sugar Nellie stamp, called "Summer Ice-Cream", fits the bill perfectly. I have coloured the stamped image in with my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes. The image has then been layered on some Orange Handmade paper, which I have torn around the edges, and layered up again on a plain piece of Orange cardstock. I have used a piece of "Dotty" paper which was an off-cut from a previous project, and have placed that down the spine of the card. The final touches were a mixture of paper/silk flowers, combined to make this single flower, and some Orange Gems down the bottom corner, for a little added interest.

I hope you enjoyed your visit, and pop back soon! Happy Crafting x

EWE LIGHT UP MY LIFE

My second Challenge for today was from Papertake Weekly - "A stitch in time". Here is my card...I have chosen one of my favourite stamps from Rachelle Anne Miller's Collection "Lily and Milo", and this one is called "Cuddle Up". Whenever I look at this stamp, I see the wool with a lot of texture, so I simply "Blob" (technical term) glue on each Wooley curl, and then just throw (another technical term) glitter over the top. This gives the sheep lots of Sparkle, and Texture at the same time! Also when looking at the sheep, automatically the colour combination of "Black and White" springs to mind. I have put some "Stitching" around the stamped image, and also found this lovely Black ribbon with white stitching in my craft stash, that also goes well! The sentiment was done on my computer, layered up, and put together with Black Brads.

Hope you like my card, and come back to see more! Happy Crafting X

CLARITY STAMP CORSET

Hi Crafters, hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather, and getting loads of cardmaking done, like me! For today I have completed two Challenges, the first of which is a NEW Challenge set by Kaboodle, and in the Challenge we could create something from the free papers which could be downloaded from their Site. Well, here is my creation! I have Downloaded two of the papers, and then used two different sizes of my favourite "Zebra" print ribbon to edge the papers. The stamp I have chosen is a Corset (ND20F), and is from Clarity Stamps, which I have coloured in with my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes. The card has then been layered up on a piece of Red, and Black pearlescent cardstock, and finally finished off with a "Zebra" print bow.

Hope your enjoyed your visit, and feel free to come back anytime! Happy Crafting x

PRECIOUS MOMENTS

Well, one more from me today, before I get down to making some more cards over the weekend! This Challenge is from Sarah Kay Challenge - Week 8 Sketch Challenge.
I have used this gorgeous Sarah Kay stamp called "Precious Moments", and I have coloured her in with my ever faithful Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes, and then layered the image up on a plain piece of lilac pearlescent cardstock. For the background elements, I have used three varieties of papers. Firstly - Green flowery paper is a new paper off Funky Hand's Download called Minty Madness, check it out, there are some lovely designs on there. Secondly - Lilac Dotty paper (and small piece of Green Dotty paper), are both from Pink Petticoat's Paper Collection CD "His & Hers", and thirdly the last piece of Lilac paper is a scrap from my craft stash. The sentiment is also from the Funky Hands Minty Madness Download. The final finishing touches were a lovely paper flower, and two lilac brads to attach the sentiment to the ribbon.

Hope you enjoyed your visit to my Blog, and come back very soon! Happy Crafting x

AUTUMN LEAVES ARE FALLING

One more from me today, this Challenge is from Our Creative Corner - "Colour", where you had to use Fall colours : Old Olive, Ruby Red, Pumpkin Pie, and Chocolate Chip.
I have decided to use some "Leaf" stamps from Anita's stamps, and have stamped them onto white card. I then used stipple brushes, and stippled ink from Chalk Eyes onto the card, using Red, Orange, and Green Colours for the "Fall" affect. I then layered these images up on Orange, and Brown card. The background paper was printed off from Crafters Companion CD "Occasions". I saw this paper and thought it would definately match the required colours for this Challenge. The base card is a lovely Chocolate Brown pearlescent cardstock. The card was then finished off with some Yellow, Orange and Red gems.

Thanks for stopping by, and come back and visit soon! Happy Crafting X

HOT BUT COOL NOTEBOOK

Hello all, what a day! Think I need a stiff drink after the day I have had (pity I don't drink)! Well a little bit of relaxation now, and here is my Challenge entry for today... This Challenge is from Penny Black Saturday Challenge - No 11 "No cards Allowed". I have opted to make a little "Notepad", using Penny Black stamp "Hot but Cool" (3686K), which I have coloured in using my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes, the front cover, and back covers have been covered with some lilac checked paper, and the Note sheets inside have been taken from Crafters Companion CD "Boys and Girls". The front of the Notepad has also been finished off with a few gems, and a paper flower, flower brads for the eyelets at the top, using my new toy, the "Croc-a-dile", and then White and Lilac ribbons weaved through the eyelets, to keep the whole thing together.

Happy crafting, and come back and visit very soon!

MOTORCYCLIST

My next Challenge for today is from Daring Cardmakers Challenge - "This Way", using arrows. Here is my card... I used a Judikins stamp called "Motorcyclist" (2983G), which is available from Stamp Addicts, which I have coloured in using my trusty Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes. For my background paper, I cut up an old Collins Road Map, and for my arrows, I went onto Free Clipart on the web, and printed off a few Road Signs, which I have placed randomly on my card. The image was layered up on black card, and finished off with some Black Brads. My sentiment was typed on my computer, and layered up with Red and Black card.

Happy crafting, and thanks for popping in, and please come back soon!

GUITAR GIRL

This Challenge I have done is from Cute Card Thursdays Challenge No. 24 - "Bright Colours"! I really went all out on this one, I just could not stop myself! I used this stamp from Spiral Whipser called "Guitar Girl", and have coloured her in with Sukura Souffle Pens, which I liked because they were almost Neon colours. The image was layered up on a few VERY bright pieces of plain cardstock, and the Backing paper is from Crafters Companion CD "Papercrafts". The card was finished off with some combinations of colours of Paper flowers.

Hope you enjoyed your visit, and please come back and visit soon!

BEARY MERRY CHRISTMAS

My second Challenge for today was from Friday Sketchers - Sketch No. 16. I found this cute bear stamp in my drawer (no name brand), coloured him in with my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes, stamped Season's Greeting, and made a tag with the sentiment. I then finished off the carD using a piece of Hot off te Press Christmas Paper Pack (HOTP7217).

ELZYBELLS BABY

Hello fellow crafters, hope you are all well! I have completed two Challenges today. Firstly, Arty Girlz Challenge No. 48 - "Add Shapes". I pondered over this one for quite a long time, and eventually came up with this card. It is a Pop-Out card, in which I have cut out a "Circle" with a second piece of card for the inside of the card, placed some background paper behind. I then stamped this cute Baby image from Elzybells three times, one for the front of the card, and two for the Pop-Out in the middle. I have then coloured all the images in, and also cut them out using my "Scalloped Circle" Nestability, and layered them up. I have stuck two of the images back-to-back, with a piece of thread in between, and then stuck the hanger into the middle of my Pop-Out Circle. I then finished off the front of the card using a scrap left over from the inner backing paper, and also used of piece of Dotty paper.

I hope you enjoyed visiting, and please come back soon.

The card was then finished off with a lilac dotty piece of ribbon, and a lovely lilac and pink paper flower.

Hello all, well the weekend is almost here, and looking forward to lots of Crafting. For today I have chosen Sketch Saturday - Sketch No. 12 as my Challenge. I have pulled this stamp out, and dusted it off.... This stamp is from Stampendous, and is called Mary's Friend Warms (TQ006). I thought I would have a bit of a change this time, and just went for using plain Watercolour pencils. The "dotty" background paper is from one of my favourite Pink Petticoat Paper Collection CD's, and finally to finish off the card, a big Pink paper flower.

Have a lovely day, and come back soon!

Hello Crafters, what a day! I need to relax! So here is my Challenge for today - Cutie-Sunday - Sketch No. 6, and here is my card. This cute stamp is from Bootiful Stampz, and it is called Blanket Maggie. She was really easy to colour, which I have done using a combination for Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes, and Sukura Gel Pens.

Anyway that is all from me today, keep well, and thanks for dropping in, please call again! Happy Crafting.....

LITTLE GEM TWINS

Well, it's Wednesday, and that much closer to the weekend, and a nice long one at that! For today, my Challenge has been taken from Our Creative Corner. This was a lovely Sketch, I don't often do elongated cards. I have used this cute stamp from Spiral Whisper, called "Little Gem Twins", and I have simply coloured it in with my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes, and glued a few "little gems" onto the scarves of the dogs. The lovely background paper, is once again from one of Pink Petticoats Paper Collection CD's, and finally finished the card off with some black and white tartan ribbon.

Hope you enjoyed your visit, and thanks for stopping by, please call again soon!

PENNY BLACK BALLERINA

Hi Everyone, hope you are all well! My Challenge for today is from Penny Black Saturday Challenge No. 10 - Ribbons. I was lucky enough a few weeks ago to win the Penny Black Challenge, and my prize was the "Penny Black 12 Days of Christmas" Clear Unmounted Set of stamps. Well, here is one of the characters off that Set of Stamps.
I have coloured her in, and cut her using my Oval Nestabillities. I decided that I would layer up with another size Nesty, and when I had finished cutting the template out, I saw the "off-cut", and thought I would use that instead, just simply placing a different background paper at the back. With the Ribbon, and have used a "Button-Hole" punch to make cuts at the top, and then just threaded Ribbons through, and twisted them. Then finally finished off the card with a couple of paper flowers.

Thanks for visiting, and come back soon!

GIRL ON SWING

Last one from me tonight! This Challenge is from Cute Card Thursday - Challenge No. 23 "Soft Furnishings. This is my first outing with this cute Elzybells stamp, called "Girl on Swing" (16-0007K). My soft furnishings I have used to complete this card are the Pink Buttons, and a lovely Pink Bow.

PEN PAL - TAKE 2

A few more Challenges from me today, before I rest my weary head. The next Challenge I have completed today is from Friday Sketchers No. 15. I really loved doing this Sketch. I brought out my Sugar Nellie stamp - Pen Pal, out for another outing.... She is a lovely image, and I always enjoy colouring her in, with my good old Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes again! The background papers have all come from Pink Petticoats Paper Collections CD's. The card has then been finished off with lilac ribbon, and a big bold flower!

Thanks for visiting, and please call in again!

IT'S A WRAP

Well, I certainly have bee busy today. Here is another Challenge I have completed today, and that Challenge was from Daring Cardmakers Challenge - "It's a Wrap".
I used my favorite Sugar Nellie Stamp - Claudia the Artist. My wrap has been made from a Wrapture template, which I have simply decorated with a few flowers and gems.

CUDDLE UP

Another Challenge for me today, and this is from A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge - A Secret Message! I loved this Challenge, by the time I had finished my card, I had changed my mind about 100 times, and finally this was the outcome.... I have used a Rachelle Anne Miller stamp, from her "Lily & Milo" range, called Cuddle-up!
I absolutely love this stamp... I stamped the sheep, coloured them in with Sukura Gel pens, and then topped them with "Blobs" of glitter! To finish off the card, I punched "Ribbon" holes on the top and bottom of each side, and threaded two thin pieces of ribbons through, to make a "Slider". Behind the flower is a tab, which you pull to reveal the "Secret Message".

I hope you liked visiting, and please call in again!

SHOWGIRL

My first Challenge for today is from Arty Girlz Challenge No. 47 - "No Patterned Paper". I have used a stamp from Dimension Fourth Ltd, called "Showgirl". She has been coloured in using Sukura Gel Pens, and my "No Patterned Paper" background is a background I have made myself using Moonshadow Inks. This technique used is called the "Clingfilm Technique", and is very easy. All you do is get a normal piece of Copier Paper, spread your chosen colour/s over the whole sheet. Make sure that your paper is quite wet, then take a piece of "Clingfilm" from your kitchen cupboard, and lay it over the wet page. Press it down, and move the Clingfilm around with your fingers, and then just leave to dry with the Clingfilm still on the paper. After a while when the paper is dry remove the Clingfilm, and where you have had the creases in the wrap, is where you will get concentrations of the mica from the Moonshadow Inks. Really very easy!
The card was then finished off with some Ribbons, and lilac Brads.

Hope you enjoyed your vist, and please come back soon! Thank-you.

JINGLE BELLS

This Challenge from Papertake Weekly, was quite hard for me. I did not want to use "Buttons" as an accessory on the card, so I had to think long and hard. I came across this lovely Sugar Nellie stamp "Jingle Bells", and saw the Bells on the Sleigh, and thought what a good idea it would be to use my little buttons, as "Bells"!
The image has been coloured in again with my old faithfuls... Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes.

Enjoy, and come back soon!

FANNY'S CUDDLE

My second Challenge for today is Sarah Kay's Weekly Challenge No. 6. I really enjoyed this Challenge. I thought I would go very Dotty and Bright for this one.
I have used the lovely Sarah Kay stamp "Fanny's Cuddle", and have coloured her in with again both my Twinkling H2O's, and Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes. The purple "dotty" paper came off one of Pink Petticoats Paper Collections CD's, and the orange "dotty" paper was a freebie out of a craft magazine. I have then finished off the card with a few Gems, and a nice bright fabric flower.

Thanks for popping in, and I hope you come back and visit soon!

TEDDY'S TRAVELS

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a lovely weekend! For today I have completed the Cutie Sunday Challenge Sketch No.5. I have coloured the stamped image, using a combination of Twinkling H2O's, and my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes.
The card was then finished off with some paper flowers.

SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS

Well, another Challenge taken up by me today! Daring Cardmakers - "Scrumdiddlyumptious" - what a mouth full! I have made this "Cupcake", by firstly using a little Iris Folding to make the CUP/CAKE. I then made the TOPPING by glittering on a piece of Acetate, and throwing in some Beads, to make the SPRINKLES. I also glittered the Cherry and some Leaves for the "Cherry on Top". The base for the Cupcake, "Flower" Backing paper, and Sentiment have come off Pink Petticoats Paper Collection CD "Sweet Cupcake".

I thought this would be appropriate for the Challenge as Cupcakes make me think of kids having fun, and enjoying parties in the park, or even their own back gardens. And cupcakes are so easy to make, everyone can get involved!

GINGER

For todays Challenge, I have made a card for Friday Sketchers, and their Challenge was Sketch No. 14. I stamped Penny Black's "Ginger" (3843K), onto a piece of card.
I then marked my rectangle to the size I wanted on the back of my card, then cut an "X" diagonally from one corner to the other. I then tore off the "tip" of each "Triangle" shape, and then rolled each one over a Kebab stick, to create the rolled affect. I then used double sided tape, and fixed my stamped image on the back of the card. The card was then finished off with some ribbon, and paper flower, and a few gems.
I hope you enjoyed browsing my blog, and thanks for visting.

BEST OF FRIENDS

My second Challenge for today is : Cute Card Thursday's "The two of us".
I have used Rochelle Anne Miller's Ladybug and Friends Stamp "Best of Friends".
The background papers were from Pink Petticoats Paper Collection CD "Sweet Cupcake". The image was coloured in using a mixture of my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes, and a few Sukura Gel Pens. The card was then finished off with a recycled flower off an old card, and a lovely lilac ribbon.

CHRISTMAS HONEY

Well today, I have been very busy, my first Challenge for today is from A Spoon Full of Sugar - "Recycle". I have used this lovely Sugar Nellie stamp "Christmas Honey", and my Recycled bits I have used are : Ribbons, rescued off a Chocolate Box, Buttons taken off an old Shirt, and a scrap piece of paper found in my "Bits and Bobs" Box.

This was a very interesting Challenge, as it makes you think what you have lying around that can be re-used. Very good Challenge!
