THE SUGAR BOWL CHALLENGE NO. 18




And my final card for today is for The Sugar Bowl Challenge No. 18 - a wonderful Sketch from Kathy, with an inclusion of "Buttons". I have used one of the new stamps from Sugar Nellie Autumn Collection, and she has been coloured with Twinkling H2O's. The image has been trimmed down and layered on pink and green card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Sugared, and to finish the card off - a stamped sentiment, some Jute ribbon and pink grosgrain ribbon, pink gems and the required "Buttons" - all from my craft stash. CUTE CARD THURSDAY CHALLENGE NO. 75


My second card is for Cute Card Thursday Challenge No. 75 - New Beginnings! I have made this card for my husband's boss, whose wife has just had a baby boy, and thought this appropriate for "new beginnings". I have used a Whiff of Joy stamp called "Willow holding Baby", and this has been coloured with Twinkling H2O's. I have glittered the collar and sleeve of Willow's dress, and used a tiny silver gem, as a diamond on her ring. The image has been cut with an Oval nesty, and the edges distressed with a blue chalk eye ink pad, before layering on Blue cardstock. The backing paper is from a Papermania 6x6 paper pad called Exquisite, and to finish the card off - a stamped sentiment, pale blue organza ribbon, a charm and some blue gems from my craft stash.

COLOUR CREATE CHALLENGE NO. 26


Hello everyone, hope you are all enjoying your Monday so far. I have a few posts today, so will start off with a card for Colour Create Challenge No. 26 - Ruby, Cream and Gold, with an added optional extra of using Gems. I have used a stamp from The Greeting Farm called Rain, Snow and Shine. And yes, this is my first Christmas card made for 2009. The image has been coloured with Twinkling H2O's, and the fur has been made using Liquid Applique, and a Heating Tool. The image has been trimmed down, and layered on cream, red and gold card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Wassail, and to finish the card off - a stamped sentiment, some cream organza ribbon, and some Gems from my craft stash.

WHIFF OF JOY CHALLENGE NO. 45


And my final card for today is for Whiff of Joy Challenge No. 45 - Bling. I have used one of the new stamps from the Whiff of Joy Fall Collection called Fall Willow with Grapes, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. The image has been trimmed down and layered on pink and grape card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Eva. I took a piece of Jute ribbon, and weaved ribbon through the holes, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, paper flower with pearl brad, and a "Bling" flower charm, and more added bling using some pink gems - all from my craft stash. STAMPAVIE AND MORE CHALLENGE NO. 58




My second card is for Stampavie and More Challenge No. 58 - a Sketch. I have used one of the new stamps from Sarah Kay called "How Sweet you are", and she has been coloured with a combo of Art-Kure WC Brushes, and Sakura Gel Pens. The image has been cut to size, and layered on yellow and blue card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Granola. A strip of yellow card has also been run through a Martha Stewart punch, and a strip of blue ribbon added on top, with a few small gems for added interest. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, paper flower with pearl brad, and some pale blue gems - all from my craft stash.

I have a few posts this morning, so I will kick off with a card for Inky Impressions Challenge No. 12 - a fabulous Sketch from Tonya. I have used an Inky Impressions stamp called Angelica's Heart Socks, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. The image has been cut out, and layered with foam pads onto red cardstock which has also been run through a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Infuse. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, paper flowers with gem brads, brown spotty ribbon, and some red gems all from my craft stash.

A SPOON FULL OF SUGAR CHALLENGE NO. 66




My second card is for A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge No. 66 - a Sketch by Sonja. I have used a stamp from The Greeting Farm called Surfer Ian, and he has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. Ian has been cut out, and layered with foam pads on a background of Palm trees, and waves made from tearing bits of blue paper. The little scene has been layered on blue and cream card. The backing papers are from Three Bugs in a Rug 6x6 paper pad called Island. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, paper flowers with pearl brads, and some Dew Drops. Hello everyone, hope you are all well, and enjoying your weekend so far, I know I definately am. The weather is lovely and sunny, and I can craft to my hearts content. I have a couple of posts this morning, and my first card is for Papertake Weekly Challenge - Sketch No. 22. I have used a Magnolia stamp called Tilda with Bike, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. For some added texture, I have used Flowersoft on the bunch of Flowers. The image has been cut to size, and layered on green and pink card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Porcelain, and to finish the card off - a stamped sentiment, some jute ribbon, and organza bow, and some dew drops - all from my craft stash.

CUTIE SUNDAY CHALLENGE NO. 56




Yipee, it's Friday... almost the weekend, I cannot wait, what a week I have had! I only have one post today, and this is a card for Cutie Sunday Challenge No. 56. I have used one of my old favs from Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbit Collection, and he has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. For a little added interest, I have placed paper flowers over the stamped flowers, and topped them with some tiny gems. The image has been cut to size, and layered on orange and pink card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Gypsy. I have also stamped swirls down either sides of the image, and for more added interest - some gems on the swirls. SKETCH SATURDAY CHALLENGE NO. 65




Hi everyone, hope you are all well and looking forward to a lovely long weekend. I only have one post today, and this card is for Sketch Saturday Challenge No. 65. I have used an oldie for this Challenge, and it is a Joanna Sheen stamp from the Messy Rabbit Collection, and she has been coloured in Sakura Gel Pens. For a little added texture, I have also glittered the spots on the dress and scarf around her head. The image has been trimmed to size, and layered on lilac and purple card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Eva. Two trips of lilac card were also run through a Fiskars punch, and to finish the card off - a stamped sentiment, strips of ribbon, paper flowers with gem brads, and finally some lilac gems - all from my craft stash. COLOUR CREATE CHALLENGE NO. 25


And my final card for today is for Colour Create Challenge No. 25 - Blue, Sand, Silver and Black, with an added option of "Summertime". I have used two stamps from Magnolia - Summer Tilda, and Pier Background, and the image has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens, and Twinkling H2O's. Tilda has been cut out, and layered onto the Pier Background with foam pads for more dimension. The image has been trimmed down, and layered on Black and Silver card. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad called Wisteria, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, a strip of blue ribbon, and some silver gems, all from my craft stash. My second card is for The Sugar Bowl Challenge No. 17 - a wonderful Sketch from Judy, with an inclusion of Handmade Flowers. I have used one of my fav Sugar Nellie stamps from the Gorjuss Girls Collection, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. The image has been cut out, and layered on pink and black card. The pink card has been run through a Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" Embossing Folder, and the backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Bittersweet. The handmade flowers have been made using circles cut from my nesties, from the Bittersweet papers, and the edges distressed with a Tim Holtz Distressing Tool, and finished off with some gem brads in their centres. The card has then been finished off with a stamped sentiment, some pink spotty ribbon, and a few pink gems.

Hi everyone, hope all is well. I have been catching up this week with a few Challenges, so I have a few posts today, and will start off with a card for Cute Card Thursday Challenge No. 74 - Lazy Dayz - create a Summer inspired card. So what could be more Summery than an Ice-Cream on a lovely sunny day, so I have used a Mangolia stamp called Tilda with Ice-Cream, and she has been coloured with a combo of Art-Kure WC brushes, and Sakura Gel Pens. The Ice-Cream has also been covered with Glossy Accents, for some added texture. The image has been cut with a Deckled Rectangle nesty, and layered on pink card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Gypsy. And to finish the card off - a stamped sentiment, a strip of ribbon and some buttons - all from my craft stash.

IT'S A CRAFTERS COMPANION CHALLENGE NO. 4




My second and final card for today is for It's a Crafters Companion Challenge No. 4 - a fabulous Sketch from Christine, with an added extra of using brads and ribbon. For starters, I have decided to rotate the Sketch, and have used a stamp from the Popcorn the Bear Collection called "I love you", and this cutie has been coloured with Sakura Gel pens. The image has been cut to size, and layered on pink card. All the corners have been rounded with a corner punch. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Bittersweet. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, two strips of ribbon, some pink brads, and a few pink gems - all from my craft stash. Hello everyone, hope you are all well. My first day back at work yesterday, and boy do I wish I was back on leave! Thank heavens for small mercy's - at least we have a long weekend coming up! Anyway, I have two posts today, and my first card is for Sketch and Stash Challenge No. 17. I received the new Whiff of Joy Autumn Collection while I was off for the week, and have therefore decided to use one of these stamps from that Collection for this card. It has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens, and then trimmed down and layered on pale yellow and pink card. DT CARD CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS CHALLENGE NO. 16


Hi everyone, hope you are all well. I have had a lovely week off with my mom visiting, but now am back! I shall start my week off with my DT card for Creative Inspirations Challenge No. 16 - Stitching. IT'S A CRAFTERS COMPANION CHALLENGE NO. 3




My second card is for a new Challenge Blog for Crafters Companion, and this card has been made for Challenge No. 3 - a Sketch designed by Jane, with an added extra of Gems/Sparkle. I have used one of the Popcorn the Bear Collection, and this adorable little one is called Thinking of You, and the whole image has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens, which gives it a lovely sparkle even though you cannot seen if in the image. That is one of the main reasons I love using Sakura Gel Pens, because of their fabulous shimmer! The image has been trimmed down and layered on green and yellow card. And my next card for today is my DT card for Creative Inspirations Challenge No. 15 - Tags - this theme has been chosen by fellow DT member Queenie - Yes this week crafters we want to see some Tags! I have attempted to make a Tag card, and have used another Inky Impressions stamp called Angelica's Daydream, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. CUTIE SUNDAY CHALLENGE NO. 53







Hi everyone, hope you are all well, and the sun is shining wherever you are. I have one post today, and this is for Cutie Sunday Challenge No. 53. I have used one of my fav Inky Impressions stamps called Angelica's Heart Socks. She is so cute, and a pleasure to colour with Sakura Gel pens. The image has been cut out, and layered with foam pads on blue and pink card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, a strip of ribbon, a paper flower with gem brad, some pink gems, and two strings of self adhesive pale pink pearls to make up the swirls - all from my bottomless craft stash. Can I also apologise for the quality of the picture if it's a bit blurry or does not show the colours properly, but my daughter has taken her camera with her on holiday to Dubai with her Nana (wish I was going too!), and all I am left with is hubby's video camera, which I cannot get to grips with.
