SKETCH SATURDAY CHALLENGE NO. 69

Hi everyone, hope you are all well on this lovely sunny day! Yippee!!!! It's my Birthday today, so I have had a nice lie in this morning, and then opened a few pressies and cards! I have truly been spoilt! I have a few posts today, so will get started with a card for Sketch Saturday Challenge No. 69. I have used a new stamp from Joanna Sheens Messy Rabbit Collection called "Messy Rudolph", and he has been coloured with a combo of Sakura Gel Pens and Twinkling H2O's. The Christmas lights have had a lick of Glossy Accents, and Messy's tail fluffed up with Liquid Applique for added texture. The image has been cut with an Oval nesty, and layered on dusty rose card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Wassail, and the card finished off with a stamped sentiment, ribbon, and paper flowers with spacers and pearl brads.

TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS CHALLENGE NO. 16

Phew, and my final card for today is for Truly Scrumptious Challenge No. 16, a wonderful Sketch from Heather. There was an extra challenge "Use a MINIMUM of 3 stamps", but silly me only read this after I had made the card..... note to self.... "read instructions before putting together"! I have used one of the new stamps from Joanna Sheens Messy Rabbit Collection, and this is called "Messy Angel", and he has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. The image has been cut with a round nesty, and layered on white and blue card. Another square of white card was run through a Cuttlebug "Snowflakes" Embossing Folder, and layered on backing paper from a Kars Xmas Collection paper pad. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, a strip of silver ribbon, paper flowers with spacers and pearl brads - all from my craft stash. Thanks for popping by, and hope you have enjoyed your visit. Have a super day, and Happy Crafting X

CUTIE SUNDAY CHALLENGE NO. 56

Yipee, it's Friday... almost the weekend, I cannot wait, what a week I have had! I only have one post today, and this is a card for Cutie Sunday Challenge No. 56. I have used one of my old favs from Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbit Collection, and he has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. For a little added interest, I have placed paper flowers over the stamped flowers, and topped them with some tiny gems. The image has been cut to size, and layered on orange and pink card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Gypsy. I have also stamped swirls down either sides of the image, and for more added interest - some gems on the swirls. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment raised with foam pads - all embellies are from my craft stash. Thanks for popping by, and hope you have a great day! Happy Crafting X

SKETCH SATURDAY CHALLENGE NO. 65

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and looking forward to a lovely long weekend. I only have one post today, and this card is for Sketch Saturday Challenge No. 65. I have used an oldie for this Challenge, and it is a Joanna Sheen stamp from the Messy Rabbit Collection, and she has been coloured in Sakura Gel Pens. For a little added texture, I have also glittered the spots on the dress and scarf around her head. The image has been trimmed to size, and layered on lilac and purple card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Eva. Two trips of lilac card were also run through a Fiskars punch, and to finish the card off - a stamped sentiment, strips of ribbon, paper flowers with gem brads, and finally some lilac gems - all from my craft stash. Thanks for dropping by, and hope you have a great day! Happy Crafting X

JOANNA SHEEN MESSY RABBIT

One more from me today.... This Challenge is from Kaboodle Doodles - Challenge No. 3 "Tearing it up!". I have selected a NEW Joanna Sheen Stamp called "Messy Rabbit Bath Tub" (MR114), and once again using my good old faithfuls, my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes, I have coloured the image in. To give the "Bubbles" more impact, I have used Glossy Accents over the top of each bubble to give them the effect of looking like "Proper" Bubbles! Don't know how affective is looks on the photo, but on real-life they look better! I have then layered the image onto a piece of pale blue hand-made paper, which I have "torn" around the edges. The background papers have all been torn, and layered. I was trying for the effect of "Greens" for the GRASS, and "Blues" for the SKY, and the "Yellow" flower representing the SUN! I was very pleased with the effect I was trying to achieve.
The sentiment finished off the card, and this has come from the same Messy Rabbit Collection.

Thanks for taking the time to browse, and I would love it, if you came back and visited soon! Happy Crafting X
