PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE - WEEK 59


And my next card for today is for Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Week 59 - A Recipe, " 3 Ribbons......2 Flowers...... 1 Pin/Charm...". I have used a Penny Black stamp called In a Nutshell, and this has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. The image has been cut with an Oval nesty, and layered on pale yellow and pink card. The backing paper is a doublesided 12/12 sheet from Imaginisce, and is called Baby Powder/Rosy Cheeks. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, and the required three elements for the recipe : 3 Ribbons, 2 Flowers with pearl brads, and a Pin with some beads, all from my craft stash. Hi everyone, hope all is well, and you are all looking forward to the weekend. I cannot wait..... I have two posts today, so will start off with a card for Sketch Saturday Challenge No. 61, for which I have chosen one of the new stamps from Elizabeth Bell, and is available from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. This adorable stamp is called "Dolly", and has been coloured with a combination of Sakura Gel Pens, and Art-Kure WC Brushes. The image has been cut to size, and layered on pink and green card. The backing paper is from Bo Bunny, and is called Alissa Twirls. I also ran a piece of green card through a Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" Embossing Folder. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, a strip of ribbon, and some pink buttons - all from my craft stash.

THE SECRET CRAFTER SATURDAY CHALLENGE NO. 42


My next card is for The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge No. 42 - a Recipe "3 Buttons, 2 Design Papers, 1 Ribbon", set by the very talented Donna. I have used a Magnolia stamp called Tilda picking Lilacs, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. The image has been cut with a round nesty, and layered on a pinky coloured card, cut with a Scalloped round nesty. The two backing papers used are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Lily Kate, and to finished the card off, a stamped sentiment, a strip of ribbon, three buttons, and an added extra of three flowers with pearl brads, all from my craft stash. Hi everyone, hope you are all well. I have two posts today, and will start off with a card for Friday Sketchers Challenge No. 62. I have used a new stamp from the fantastically talented Elizabeth Bell, and are available from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. This little beauty called "Danni" has been coloured with a combination of Art-Kure WC brushes, and Sukura Gel Pens, and the wings have been glittered. The image has been cut to size, and layered on lilac, grey, and dark purple card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Wisteria, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, paper flower with pearl brad, a strip of ribbon, and some purple gems - all from my craft stash.

CUTE CARD THURSDAY CHALLENGE NO. 70


Hello crafters, hope all is well. It's Wednesday, and we are on the downhill run to the weekend, sooo long forward to it! I only have one post today, and this is a card for Cute Card Thursday Challenge No. 70 "Eye Eye" - use eyelets on your card or project. I have chosen one of the new Sarah Kay stamps called "Gardens Need Many Helpers", and has been coloured with a combination of Sakura Gel Pens, and Art-Kure WC brushes. The image has been cut to size, and layered on pink and green card. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad called Sugared. My Eyelets have been positioned along the bottom of the image, and have some pink ribbon weaved through them in a criss-cross pattern, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, flower with pearl brad, and a strip of pale pink self-adhesive pink pearls, all of which are from my craft stash. STAMPAVIE AND MORE CHALLENGE NO. 53


And my next card for today is for Stampavie and More Challenge No. 53 - Summer! I have had this stamp for a while now, and have been dying to use it, and I thought this was the perfect opportunity. It is a Penny Black stamp called Beach Hammock, and has been coloured with a combination of Art-Kure WC Brushes, and Sakura Gel Pens. The glass and sunglasses have also had a touch of Glossy Accents, for added interest. The image has been layered on yellow and green card, and the backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad called Porcelain. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, a strip of ribbon, some flower with gem brads, and some little green gems, all from my craft stash. TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS CHALLENGE NO. 12




Hi everyone, hope you are all well. I just can't wait for this week to be over already, I am so tired already, and it is only Tuesday... Anyway, I have two very quick posts today, and will start off with a card for Truly Scrumptious Challenge No. 12 - a wonderful Sketch from Heather, with an additional extra, of adding beads. I did not quite use beads, but am hoping the the pearls and gems will count. I have used one of the new Sugar Nellie stamps called Manga Girl No. 1, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. The image has been cut to size, and layered on blue and brown card. The backing papers used are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Granola. A strip of blue backing paper was also run through a Martha Stewart "Doily" Punch. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, a strip of ribbon, paper flower with pearl brads, and some blue gems.

DT CARD CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS CHALLENGE NO. 14


My next card for today is my DT card for Creative Inspirations Challenge No. 14 - "Bling". I have used a Magnolia stamp called Shy Tilda, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel pens. I used a template of a Tag to cut the shape, and then dipped the edges into glue, and again into Crustal glitter, to get the glittered border. The tag shape was layered again on lilac, grey and dark purple card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Wisteria, and to finish the card off, stamped sentiment, paper flowers, and more bling using a pearl brad, and some lilac gems - all from my craft stash. WHIFF OF JOY CHALLENGE NO. 40




Hello crafters, hope you are all well. I have two very quick posts today, and will start off with a card for Whiff of Joy Challenge No. 40 - another wonderful Sketch from Donalda. I have hauled out one of my old favs from Whiff of Joy called Maid Charlotte, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. The image has been cut to size, and layered on orange and grey card. A scrap of dark grey card was also run through a Cuttlebug "Swirls" Embossing folder, and also with an Oval nesty. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Ambrosia, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, paper flowers with pearl brads, and some gems - all from my craft stash.

POLLYCRAFT MONDAY CHALLENGE NO. 20




My next card for today is for Pollycraft Monday Challenge No. 20 - a Sketch with an added theme of "Food and Drimk". I have used a stamp exclusive to Susana's Custom Art and Card Design, from the Hearts and Hugs Collection, and this cutie is called Tea for Two. The image has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens, and the butterfly wings have had a little glitter added with a Quickie Glue pen and Crystal Glitter. The image has been cut to size, and layered on purple and cream card. I also ran two strips of card through a Martha Stewart punch, and made two tabs for part of the Sketch. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, paper flowers, with gem brads, and some little silver gems added to the little girls bracelet, all from my craft stash. SKETCH AND STASH CHALLENGE NO. 15




Hello everyone, hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I have two posts today, and will start off with a card for Sketch and Stash Challenge No. 15, with an option of using your neglected scraps. I have rotated the Sketch, and moved the strips slightly for my card, and have used one of the new Sugar Nellie stamps from the Gorjuss Girls Collection 3, which has been coloured with Sukura Gel pens. The balloon has also had a layer of Glossy Accents for added texture. The image has been cut, and layered on yellow and maroon card. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad called Sugared. The little scraps I have used for the strips are offcuts from previous projects, and are also from the Sugared paper pad. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, gem brads, and little pink gems - all from my craft stash.

I have used one of the new Sugar Nellie stamps called Manga Girl No. 2, and she has been coloured with Sukura Gel pens. The image has been cut out and layered with foam pads onto brown card cut with Label nesties. The backing papers are from a Basic grey paper pad called Infuse, which contains both elements of spots and stripes. My next card is for Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Week 58 "Soft and Sweet" - this could be soft papers, soft textures, sweet images, sweet papers - choice is yours. Well, there is nothing soft about my card, the colours are very bright, so I think my card falls into the "sweet" category, using Cherries! I have used a stamp from the Penny Black T-for Transparent Collection called Micey Day, and this image has been coloured with Sukura Gel pens. The cherries have been covered with Glossy Accents, to give them more texture. The image has been cut with a Label nesty, and layered on green and red card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Lemonade, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, paper flowers, and gems - all from my craft stash.

And my final card for today is for Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Week 57 "Swirls". I have selected one of the cute stamps from Penny Black T-for Transparent Collection called Micey Day, and these little mice have been coloured with a combination of Art-Kure WC Brushes, and Sukura Gel pens. As you have probably seen from a few of my cards lately, I love using these little flowers. WHIFF OF JOY CHALLENGE NO. 38




Hi everyone, hope Monday went fine for you all. A very quick post for me today, and it is a card for Whiff of Joy Challenge No. 38, a wonderful Sketch from Katharina. I have used one of the stamps from Whiff of Joy called Willow with Flowers, and for a change I have dusted off the H2O's. Still not mastered them very well, but with a little practice, I am sure I will get the effect I am looking for. The image has been cut to size and layered on pink and aqua card. The backing papers are from a new Basic Grey paper pad called Lemonade. A strip of Aqua card was also run through a Martha Stewart punch, for an element of the Sketch. DT CARD CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS CHALLENGE NO. 13

And my second post today is my DT card for Creative Inspirations Challenge No. 13, which is my very first Challenge setting a theme. My theme is "Something Old/Something New" -Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue....... it does not necessarily mean you have to make a wedding card.... - something old could be something you have had in your stash which you have not used for a long time- something new - a new stamp, paper - anything new in your stash- something borrowed - a borrowed stamp from a friend, or even an element ie. embellishment "borrowed" off a card you have made before- something blue - there has to be something on your card, which needs to be Blue.

Something old - a Papermania 6x6 paper pad called Exquisite from my craft stash

Something new - New Whiff of Joy stamp called Wedding Carriage

Something borrowed - jewellery fittings ie. chain and jump rings from my Jewellery stash

Something Blue - Blue bench, and hearts on the Carriage

The image has been coloured with a combination of Sukura gel Pens and Art-Kure WC Brushes. The brides veil has been glittered with a Quickie Glue pen and crystal glitter, and the two blue hearts have been covered with Glossy Accents, for a little added texture.
The image has been cut to size, and layered on pink and silver card.
To finish the card off a stamped senitment, two strips of self-adhesive pink pearls, a paper flower with pearl brad, and silver heart charm - from my craft stash.

CRAFT AND STASH CHALLENGE NO. 14




Hi everyone, hope you are all well, and enjoying your weekend. I had such a tiring day doing my Ceramic Workshop yesterday, I was totally knackered when I got home, and simply ate dinner, and went straight to bed. So I am now feeling very wide awake and full of energy today. I have one post today, and this is a card for Craft and Stash Challenge No. 14, another fantastic Sketch. I just could not resist using one of the NEW Sugar Nellie Gorjuss Girls from Collection 3, and for a change decided to dust off the Twinkling H2O's, and give them an airing, although I did also use my Sukura gel pens too. For a little more added interest I used tiny paper flowers stuck over the original stamped flowers, and topped them with tiny little gold gems. The image was cut to size, and layered on brown and green card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Infuse, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, two corners punch with a corner punch, a paper flower with gem brad, a strip of cream ribbon, and some buttons - all from my craft stash.
