WHIFF OF JOY CHALLENGE NO. 32


And my next card is for Whiff of Joy Challenge No. 32 - Brown and Blue. I have chosen this gorgeous stamp from Whiff of Joy called Charlottes Horse. I just love him, he is so beautiful! He has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens, and then cut to size, and layered on blue and brown card. All the corners have been rounded with a corner punch, and I have also added Brown brads to the corners. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Granola. I also ran two strips of paper through a Martha Stewart punch, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, some brown ribbon, and some pale blue gems, all from my craft stash. PAPERTAKE WEEKLY CHALLENGE 25 05 09


Hello everyone, hope you are all well, and enjoying the lovely weather. I have two posts today, and will start off with the Papertake Weekly Challenge - Scrap This! - Use your Scraps. I have decided to make an ATC, as I have lots of little pieces of card and paper left over from other Projects, and I never have the heart to throw them away. You never know when they may be useful. I have used a stamp from Faerie Song Art Stamps called Mini Kyra, and she is just a perfect size for an ATC. I have coloured her with Sukura Gel Pens, and have also glittered her wings and the moon, with a Quickie Glue pen and Crystal Glitter. She has been cut to size with a Deckled edge rectangle nesty, and layered on a scrap of pink card. All the backing papers are also scraps from Basic Grey paper pads, and to finish the ATC off, a paper flower, with a gem brad, and some pink gems from my craft stash.

STAMP WITH STAMPAVIE CHALLENGE NO. 45


My next card is for Stamp with Stampavie Challenge No. 45 - Yellow and Black. I have used a new stamp from a new Victoria Case Collection, exclusive to Susana's Custom Art and Card Design called Heart and Hugs, and this cutie is "Singing in the Rain", and this cutie has been coloured with a combination of Sukura Gel Pens, and Art-Kure WC Brushes. The image has been cut to size, and layered on yellow and black card, and all their corner have been rounded with a corner punch. The backing papers are a combination too of Basic Grey pads called Ambrosia, and Lime Rickey. The card has been finished off with some yellow paper flowers, black brads, some black pearls, and a strip of ribbon - all from my endless craft stash. A SPOON FULL OF SUGAR CHALLENGE NO. 53


Good morning everyone, what a gorgeous day! Lovely and sunny, that's put me in a good mood already! I have two posts today, and my first card is for A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge No. 53 - Lace. I have used a new The Greeting Farm stamp from the Collection called Hope and Grace, not sure which one is which, and she has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens. I just love these pens because they give such a lovely shimmer to the image when it's coloured. The photos really don't do the pens any justice at all, but really effective when you see them in real life. I have cut all around the image, and layered her on pink, green and pale yellow card which has been cut with Oval nesties. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Gypsy. I did not have genuine lace, but have used some paper lace instead. The card has been finished off with a paper flower and gem brad, from my craft stash.

POLLYCRAFT CHALLENGE NO. 16


And my final card for today is for Pollycraft Challenge No. 16 - Sue's Challenge....Monochrome. I have used one of my old Pollycraft favourites from the Winter Elves Collection, and she is called Joyous! The image has been coloured using Sukura Gel Pens, and then she has been cut with a round nesty, and layered in two shades of purple card. The backing papers are from a Papermania 8x8 paper pad called Amethyst Infusion, and to finish the card off, some paper flowers with pearl brads, and small strip of lilac spotty ribbon, and some gems, all from my bottomless craft stash! SKETCH AND STASH CHALLENGE NO. 11




Hi ladies, hope you are all well. Well it's Friday, and the sun is shining, and it's almost the weekend, how much better could it get? I have two posts today, and will start off with a card for Sketch and Stash Challenge No. 11, and yet another great Sketch to work with. I have used one of my new Whiff of Joy stamps from the Summer Collection, and he has been coloured with my Art-Kure WC Brushes. I have then cut him out, and layered him with foam pads, before placing him in front of the grey and blue circles cut with a round nesty. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Ambrosia. I also ran a strip of dark grey card through a Martha Stewart punch. The card has been finished off with a strip of blue ribbon, paper flowers with gem brads, and some blue gems, all from my craft stash.

My next card is for Cutie Sunday Challenge No. 43, another fantastic Sketch. I have used another favourite of mine a Sugar Nellie Gorjuss Girl, simply called Sitting, and she has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens. The image has been cut, and layered with foam pads onto pink and brown card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Sultry. A strip of pink card has also been run through a Martha Stewart punch, and to finish the card off - a stamped sentiment, a paper flower with gem brad, a strip of ribbon, and some pink gems - all from my craft stash. Hello everyone, hope you are all well. At least it is a better day today! I have a few posts today, and my first card is for Colour Create Challenge - Week 17 - Lemon, Pink Sorbet and Chocolate, with an added option of "Shabby Chic". I have used one of old favourites from Whiff of Joy called Willow with Hot Chocolate, and she has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens. The image has been cut with a round nesty, and layered on pink, yellow and brown card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Infuse. The edges of the pink and yellow backing paper have been distressed, for the shabby chic look, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, paper flowers with gem brads, a strip of brown ribbon, and pink gems - all from my craft stash.

PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE - WEEK 50


And my last card for today is for Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Week 50 - Buttons Galore! I have used a Penny Black stamp called Poppy Fields, which I got in a bargain bin when I was at Ally Pally last month. The image has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens, and then cut with a Label nesty, and layered on shades of green card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Perhaps. I also ran a strip of green card through a Fiskars paper punch, and also the green backing paper. Where the holes were on the green backing paper, I have covered them over with some little buttons. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, some cream ribbon, and some more tiny olive green square buttons, all from my craft stash. My next card is for The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge No. 33 - New Beginnings - create something for new beginnings like, new home, new job, new start, new baby, wedding - anything "new". I have chosen to make a "New Baby" card, for which I have used a stamp from Art Gone Wild, simply called Giraffe, and she has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens. The image has been cut with an Oval nesty, and layered on cream and pink card. The backing paper is from a 12x12 sheet of Imaginisce paper called Baby Powder/Rosy Cheeks, which is double sided. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, a strip of pink ribbon, a pink spotty bow, and some pink gems from my craft stash.

DARING CARDMAKERS - WET WET WET


My next card is for Daring Cardmakers Challenge - Wet Wet Wet! - make a card featuring water of any kind! I have used a stamp from the Daisy and Dandelion Collection called Dandelion goes Fishing, and he has been coloured with a combination of Sukura Gel Pens, and Art-Kure WC Brushes. I have also used Glossy Accents on the fish, fishing rod, and fishing tackle on his hat, for added texture, and to give the effect of being "Wet". The image has been cut to size, and layered on green and brown card, and all the corners have been rounded with a corner punch. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Archiac. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment from the same stamp set, a strip of ribbon, pale green gems, and paper flowers with pearl brads, all from my craft stash. Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I have two posts today, and my first card is for Cute Card Thursday Challenge No. 61 - "A Sporting Chance" - see any type of sporting image used on your card ie. swimming, golf, baseball, football, dancing etc. I have chosen a stamp from GCS Artstamps called The Puckster. I bought this stamp because it reminded me of my hubby earlier years when he used to play Ice Hockey. I have coloured the image with Sukura Gel Pens, and have used some Glossy Accents to make a shiny surface like Ice. The image was cut with a round nesty, and layered on red and blue card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Marrakech, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment and some gems from my craft stash.

A SPOON FULL OF SUGAR CHALLENGE NO. 52


My next card is for A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge No. 52, and they are 1 year old! So the theme this week is to create a card for a Celebration. I have used a Sugar Nellie stamp from the Leanne Ellis Collection called Fizz, and she has been coloured with Watercolour Pencils. I think I still need a lot of practice using WC Pencils! The bottle and bubbles have been covered with Glossy Accents, for some added texture. The image has been cut and layered on pink and green card. COLOUR CREATE CHALLENGE NO. 16


And my final card today is for Colour Create Challenge - Week 16 - Sky Blue, Tan and Ecru, with optional extra of adding gloss, glitter or glaze to your creations. I have used one of the stamps from The Greeting Farm stamp set called Rock the Farm, and he has been coloured with a combination of Sukura Gel Pens and Art-Kure WC Brushes. I do have a tiny little bit of Glossy Accents on the fishing rod, the fish, and the fishing tackle on the hat. The image has then been cut with an Octagonal nesty, and layered on Tan, Ecru and Blue card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Granola. THE SECRET CRAFTER SATURDAY CHALLENGE NO. 32


And my final card for today is for The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge No. 32 - "Glitter" - you can use loose glitter, glitter glue or glitter card, but the must be glitter on your creation. I have used a stamp from a Faerie Song Art Stamps called Sassafras, and she has been coloured with a combo of Art-Kure WC Brushes, and Sukura Gel Pens. The outline of the wings has been glittered using a Quickie Glue pen, and Crystal Glitter. The image has been cut with an Oval nesty, and layered on white glitter card, and pink card. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad called Sultry, and to finish the card off some paper flowers with gem grads, and some pale pink gems, all from my craft stash.

DARING CARDMAKERS - THE SOUND OF MUSIC


And my next card is for Daring Cardmakers Challenge - The Sound of Music - make a card which is "Musically Inspired", anything goes, whether you use musical paper, or an image of an instrument - or even a song lyric. I was totally stumped with this Challenge, but then I remembered the Penny Black T-for Transparent "12 Days of Christmas" Collection, which has two musical images, of which this is one of them! I have coloured the image with Sukura Gel Pens, and then cut it out with an Oval nesty. The image has been layered on cream and pale green card, and the backing paper is from Kameo Cards. I ran a strip of cream card through a Martha Stewart "Doily" punch, and then attached this to a strip of the pale green card, which has been punched with a ribbon threading punch. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, paper flowers with pearl brads, and finally some cream ribbon, all from my endless craft stash.
