WHIFF OF JOY ANNIVERSARY BLOG HOP - GUEST DESIGNER CALL

Hi everyone, just a quick post from me tonight for Whiff of Joy. Katharina will be celebrating Whiff of Joy's First Anniversary , and to celebrate, there will be a Party taking place on 25th July 2009 starting 7 pm on Katharina's Blog. Here is my card, following Katharina's fabulous Sketch, using one of my absolute favourites "Musing Melinda". She has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens, and her wings glittered using a Quickie Glue Pen and Crystal Glitter. The papers used are from a NEW Basic Grey paper pad called Lemonade. The sentiment is also from Whiff of Joy, and the card has been finished off with some pink ribbon and buttons, from my bottomless craft stash!

WHIFF OF JOY CHALLENGE NO. 30

And my next card is for Whiff of Joy Challenge No. 30 - Friendship. I have given this cute stamp from Whiff of Joy called Musing Melinda, another outing. I just love her, she is so sweet. I have coloured the image with a combination of Sukura Gel Pens, and Art-Kure WC Brushes. The image has then been cut with an Octagonal nesty, and layered on dusty pink, pale orange, and pale green card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Porcelain. I also ran a strip of card through a Martha Stewart punch, and stamped a sentiment onto scrap card, and cut with a Tag nesty. The card has been finished off with some paper flowers with pearl brads, some cream ribbon, and some pink gems - all from my bottomless craft stash. And my next card for today is for Papertake Weekly Challenge - Perfect Pastels. I have used one my the new Whiff of Joy stamps called "Musing Melinda", I just love her she is one of my new favs. She has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens, and her wings glittered with a Quickie Glue pen and Crystal Glitter. The image has been cut with a Nesty, and layered on Pink card. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pads called "Lily Kate". The card has been finished with a stamped sentiment also from Whiff of Joy, a pink organza ribbon and bow, some pale blue gems from my craft stash. SKETCH AND STASH CHALLENGE NO. 8

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well, looks like it is going to be a lovely day today. Two very quick posts from me this morning, as I am off to Ally Pally today for a stamping show. My first card is for Sketch and Stash Challenge No. 8, which I have used a new Whiff of Joy stamp called Musing Melinda. I have coloured her with a combination of my WC Brushes, and Sukura Gel Pens. She has then been cut and layered on pale green, cream and grey card. The backing papers are from a Laura Ashley 8x8 paper pad called Contemporary which I bought a while back, but have not had a chance to use yet. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, and some silver gems from my craft stash.
