SUGAR NELLIE A GOOD BOOK

And my last post for 2008! This card has been made for Papertake Weekly Challenge - Sketch No. 5 - A great Sketch from the very talented Dawny. I have used a stamp from Sugar Nellie called "A Good Book", which has been coloured with my favourite WC Brushes. The image has been cut, and layered on Lime green pearlescent cardstock. The backing papers have been printed from Summertime Designs download called "Limeade", and the spotty paper is a scrap from another project. The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy, and the ribbon from my craft stash. Thanks for stopping by, and hope you all have a super crafting 2009!

ARTY GIRLZ HOME ART

My next post is for Arty Girlz Challenge No. 66 - Home Art - "Create something that you can display in your home"..... my choice was Fridge Magnets. I have chosen three stamps from Whiff of Joy, that all have to do with food or drink, or something you would do in the kitchen, and thought these would make great images for my Fridge Magnets in my kitchen. I have coloured them with my Art-Kure WC Brushes, and then cut them to size, and layered then on gold and pink cardstock. I dusted the cobwebs off my Xyron machine, and ran the images through the machine, which gave them a layer of laminate over the top, and then a magnetic layer on the bottom. I was really very pleased with the outcome! Thanks for popping in, and hope to see you again!

ESPECIALLY FOR YOU

Well, the New Year is almost upon us, and I thought I would finish 2008 off with a few more posts. My first post is for Magnolia vs Stampavie Challenge - Week 7 - A Sketch from Donna.
I have chosen to rotate the Sketch, and have used three Sarah Kay images for this card, and they have been coloured with my WC Brushes. All three images have been cut with a nesty, and layered on gold card. The backing paper has been printed from a Tinker and Co. download called "Tinkers Vineyard". The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley, and the ribbon and flowers from my craft stash. Thanks for stopping by.
