And my next card for today is for Papertake Weekly Challenge - "Pink, Orange and Brown".
So for this Challenge I have chosen a Sugar Nellie stamp from the Leanne Ellis Collection called "True Love". I stamped the image, and then stamped another image on another piece of paper and cut it out to make a mask of the girl, and the flower. I then covered those areas with the mask, and used chalk eye ink pads to stipple the background with pink and orange. I then removed the masks, and coloured the rest of the image. The bubbles were coloured with orange, brown and pink Sukura Gel Pens, and then for added texture, covered with Glossy Accents. The image was cut to size, and layered on brown, pink and orange card. The backing paper is from a Funky Hand Paper Collection CD. I also cut another two pieces of card with a scalloped square nesty to make extra layers for my layout. I used a stamped sentiment from Lili of the Valley, and layered that on pink and brown card too. The card was then finished off with some paper flowers, a bow, and tiny piece of ribbon, and some pink gems, all from my craft stash. Phew, that was a long explanation, hope I have not missed anything out, and better still hope it all makes sense. Thanks for taking the time to stop by, and hope you have a lovely day. Happy Crafting!
