Good morning everyone, hope you are all well, and enjoying your weekend so far. My first post for this morning is for Arty Girlz Challenge No. 70 - "Make an ATC". I has so much fun making an ATC, that I ended up making a Set of 4. I used this adorable little stamp from Forever Friends called "Bear", and coloured him with Sukura Gel Pens. I have cut each Bear out using a different shaped nesty, and layered each one too. Each ATC has a different backing papers, which was a good way of using up some of my scraps I had lying around on my messy craft table.
The sentiment is a stamp from Stampendous called "Tiny Toes". Each ATC has been finished off with different embellishments ie. ribbons, flowers, gems and buttons. Hope you have enjoyed seeing my ATC's, and thanks for stopping by.

GIVE IT SOME HEART
My next card for today is for Daring Cardmakers Challenge - "Give it some Heart". Well this card has been made using some recycled bits. I was standing in my daughters room taking some picures of my cards, and lying on her table was an empty perfume box, which had all these little hearts on, and I had just read the Challenge for Daring Cardmakers. So immediately I decided I had to use these little Hearts. The "sentiment" at the bottom was also a little romantic saying that was down the side of the perfume box, so I thought it would make a lovely sentiment, and it says " True Love lasts forever". The rest of my card is made up of : Backing paper from Papermania 6x6 paper pad called "Exquisite", Rose ribbon, and Heart Gems from my craft stash, and finally the Big Heart at the bottom of my card, was a freebie from a craft magazine. Hope you have enjoyed you visit, and thanks for stopping by. Hope you all have a lovely day.

PAPER BEADS
Hello everyone, hope you have all had a good Monday! Just a quick post from me this afternoon for a Monthly Challenge set by The Sugar Bowl called "Sugar Sugar - Project of the Month". And the Project for January was "Paper Beads" by Marlene. Marlene has a great Tutorial on the Blog for making Paper Beads, check it out, they are so easy to make. It was really great fun, I was having so much fun making the beads, and I ended up making two items to feature my beads. My first creation is a 2009 Calendar, where I have used Sugar Nellies "Pen Pal" for this cover of my desk Calendar. I won't bother showing you the inside, as it is just plain sheets with the individual months. The cover is the main feature, using the Paper Beads.
Creation No. 1 - 2009 Desk Calendar!
Here is a close up of the Paper Beads, using up the Scraps from the Backing Paper used on the Cover, and Back cover of the Calendar.
My second creation is just a Notebook, using the scraps of card left over from cutting the Calendar down to size. As they say "Waste-Not"! The cover has another gorgeous Sugar Nellie stamp called "Daisy".
Creation No. 2 - Notebook !
And here is a Close-up of the Paper Beads on the Notebook, again using up all the little scraps from the Project.
This was a very enjoyable Project, and I can definately see myself using these "Paper Beads" again! Doing this Project also gave me an ideal opportunity to use my "Bind-It-All" Machine which I bought ages ago, and never had the courage to use it! So that is also something I will be making more use of!
Hope I have inspired you to have a go at making these gorgeous beads! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great evening.
SUGAR NELLIE LETTER BOX
Now this card has been made for Cute Card Thursday Challenge No. 44 - "Create a Scene". My card is a little bit of a cheat, as I actually did not create a scene myself, as I do not have any stamps with which I could do that, but the stamp I have chosen to use, actually has a scene created already within the stamp which is from Sugar Nellie called "Letter Box". The image has been coloured using a combination of WC Brushes, and Sukura Gel Pens. The image has been layered on maroon and cream card. The backing paper is a Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad called "Sugared". The card has been finished off with four small maroon brads in each corner of the image, and a stamped sentiment. Hope this counts! Hope your have enjoyed your visit, and thanks for dropping by, and have a fantastic day!
LILI OF THE VALLEY SCARLET
This card has been made for Lili of the Valley Challenge no. 15 - "Valentines". I have chosen a Lili of the Valley die-cut from the Fairies Collection called "Scarlet". I have layered her on a red heart, which has been placed at a slightly jaunty angle. The backing paper is from a BasicGrey 6x6 paper pad called "Sugared", and for a little added interest, I have brushed the edges of the paper with a Chalk Eye Inkpad, and I have also stuck some Heart shaped gems in the flowers of the backing paper, and glittered Scarlets wings with a Quickie Glue pen, and Crystal Glitter. The sentiment has been stamped from a Crafters Compantion collection.
Thanks for stopping by, and hope your have enjoyed your visit.

SARAH KAY PICNICS OF DAISIES
And my final card for today is for Stamp with Stampavie Challenge No. 27, which is a lovely Sketch this week. I have used Sarah Kay's stamp called "Picnic of Daisies" again, which has been coloured with my WC Brushes. The image has been cut to size, and layered on pale pink cardstock. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad called "Bittersweet". The scroll, and sentiment have been stamped directly onto the backing paper. Always a bit of a risk because the images may not come out very nicely, but in this case, they both came out very well! The finishing touches are : Paper flowers, ribbon and two pink gems, all from my craft stash. Thanks for stopping by, and hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
WHIFF OF JOY LIZZIE
My next card for today is for Whiff of Joy Challenge No. 15 - Sketch by Katharina. This is a great Sketch, and yes I have made a Christmas card (getting a good start for this year - lol)! I have chosen to use one of my favourite Whiff of Joy stamps "Lizzie". She is so cute! I have coloured her with my WC Brushes, and then cut and layered her on pink and blue pearlescent card, using round nesties. The backing paper is also one of my favourites from My Minds Eye called "Be Merry Trim the Tree". The card has been finished off with a WOJ stamped sentiment, stamped on a tag bought from WH Smith, some pale pink ribbon, three pale blue gems and a gem brad from my craft stash. Thanks for stopping by, and hope you enjoyed your visit.
SARAH KAY MY SWEET LILI
Good morning crafters, hope your weekend is going well! Rather a dull, wet day here in Essex, all the more reason to be inside Crafting! So for today, I have a couple of cards to post. The first card is for Arty Girlz Challenge No. 69 - "Transparent" set by guest designer Fabrizio - Use something clear/transparent on your Creation. Well I almost did not do this Challenge, but I thought after a while I would give it a go! So the transparent part of my card is the front cover of the card. I have used a Sarah Kay stamp called "My Sweet Lili", which has been coloured with my Art-Kure WC Brushes. The image has been cut with a round nesty, and layered on some maroon card cut with a scalloped round nesty. Another piece of maroon card was cut to place at the back of the image to mirror the front scalloped edge. The image was then placed on Acetate, and the second scalloped card placed on the reverse of the acetate to hide the double-sided tape. The backing paper has been placed on the bottom side of the card. And to finish the card off, an Organza Ribbon, and some paper flowers. I hope my photos show the Acetate front well enough, as it was quite difficult to do in this dull weather we are having today. Hope you have enjoyed your visit, and thanks for popping by.

RACHELLE ANNE MILLER LILY I LOVE SHOPPING

PINK PETTICOAT HENRIETTA
My first card for today is for Cute Card Thursday Challenge No. 43 - Have a Giggle! I had to really think about this one, because I don't really have any "funny" stamps, then I remembered this download from Pink Petticoat. This cute hippo is called Henrietta, and she was coloured using Sukura pens, and then I "paper pieced" her outfit. I cannot take credit for the caption, it is part of the download, but I thought it was rather funny. The backing papers are also a Pink Petticoat download called "Little Big Dots". The card has been finished off with some ribbon, a dotty bow, and some paper flowers from my craft stash. Hope you enjoyed your visit, and thanks for taking the time to stop by.
