STAMP WITH STAMPAVIE CHALLENGE NO. 34

Hello everyone, hope you are all well, the sun is out, and it looks like it is going to be a lovely day! I shall start off with a card for Stamp with Stampavie Challenge No. 34 - a Sketch from guest designer Bastelbiene, and what a great Sketch it was. Thanks Bastelbiene, I really enjoyed it! I used a Sarah Kay stamp called Roses Garden, and coloured her with my Art-Kure WC Brushes, and then cut her to size with and Oval nesty. The remaining two layers were also cut with nesties. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad called "Urban Prairie", and for another element of the layout, I ran a piece of pink card through a Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" Embossing Folder. I clean forgot to fold over the top right corner, so compensated by punching a corner, and placing a gem on top. The card has been finished off with some strips of pink and cream organza ribbon, some paper flowers with gem brads, and a final touch - a little pink spotty ribbon.

SARAH KAY ROSES GARDEN

A few posts from me this morning before I get stuck into Saturdays Challenges. The first card is for Stamp with Stampavie Challenge no. 26, which is a lovely Sketch from Guest Designer "Kymba -Slydog". I have used Sarah Kay's stamp called Roses Garden, and she has been coloured with my WC Brushes. The papers are Laura Ashley 8 x8's "Contemporary". The sentiment is stamped from a Lili of the Valley set, and the card has been finished off the some paper flowers, and gems from my craft stash. Thanks for stopping by, and hope to see you again.

SARAH KAY ROSES GARDEN

This card was made for Sarah Kay Challenge - Week 13 "True Blue", and for this Challenge, I chose to use Sarah Kays's lovely stamp "Rose's Garden". This was the first time I have used this image, and I was really pleased with the outcome, using as ever my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes. I cut the stamped image with my Oval Nesty, and also cut a Scalloped Oval from pale blue pearlescent cardstock. The base card was covered with a blue floral backing paper (sorry no name, found it in my craft stash!). I then took two scraps of pale blue hammered card, and ran them through my Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" embossing folder, and for added interest, then rubbed over a blue chalk eye inkpad over the top, to make the "dots" stand out more.
I then placed this gorgeous blue "dotty" ribbon over the two pieces of card, and finished the card off with a blue flower centered in the middle with a blue "dotty" brad to go with the ribbon, and finally three blue buttons.
Thank you for visiting my Blog, and I hope you will come back and visit again soon! Happy Crafting X
