This card was made for Sarah Kay Challenge - Week 13 "True Blue", and for this Challenge, I chose to use Sarah Kays's lovely stamp "Rose's Garden". This was the first time I have used this image, and I was really pleased with the outcome, using as ever my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes. I cut the stamped image with my Oval Nesty, and also cut a Scalloped Oval from pale blue pearlescent cardstock. The base card was covered with a blue floral backing paper (sorry no name, found it in my craft stash!). I then took two scraps of pale blue hammered card, and ran them through my Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" embossing folder, and for added interest, then rubbed over a blue chalk eye inkpad over the top, to make the "dots" stand out more.
I then placed this gorgeous blue "dotty" ribbon over the two pieces of card, and finished the card off with a blue flower centered in the middle with a blue "dotty" brad to go with the ribbon, and finally three blue buttons.
Thank you for visiting my Blog, and I hope you will come back and visit again soon! Happy Crafting X

The backing paper I have used for my base, if a download from Summertime Designs called "Beautimous", and small pieces if "Stripey" paper used underneath my ribbons, and on the two outer squares at the bottom of the card are also from the same download. The card was finished off with a sentiment stamped from a set of stamps of got from Cuddly Buddly, and the paper flowers, and ribbon are from my craft stash.

My second Challenge for today is from Penny Black's Saturday Challenge No. 16 - Seasons. For this Challenge we could make a card choosing any Season. I decided to go with "Winter", and have also chosen one of my NEW buys from Ally Pally. This stamp is called "I love Snow" (2541K), which has been coloured in with my Art-Kure watercolour brushes, and Sukura Gel pens. For a little "sparkle" on the image, I have added glitter on the snowballs The image has been cut out, and layered on pink cardstock. My second piece of pink card, I have run through my Cuttlebug "Snowflake" Embossing folder, and cut to size. A piece is pink ribbon has then been tied around this piece of card. The main backing paper I have used for the base has been printed from Funky Hands Paper Collection CD "Yule be Funky". I have used a sentiment from Funky Fairy's Download "Xmas Rounds", which has been cut using my Round Nesty, and the Scalloped layer for the sentiment has also been cut from my Scalloped Nesty. All my edges have been brushed lightly with a Pink Chalk Eye stamp pad.
Hello crafters, hope everyone is well! A couple of posts from me today, as I missed yesterday. I took myself off to The BIG Stamp Show at Alexanda Palace, and spent WAY too much money, but worth every penny! My first Challenge completed today is from Friday Sketchers - Sketch No. 21. For this Sketch, I used my rubber stamp and Cuddly Buddly called Charley with Willow. I just loved this image, and could not resist buying it! I have coloured the image in with my Artkure watercolour brushes. The image was then cut out, and layered on a piece of pink cardstock. The backing papers were all from Funky Fairy's "Funky Garden" download. All the papers have also been cut down to size, and layered on pink cardstock too! All elements were positioned as per the Sketch, and the card finished off with some silk flowers, with pearl brads positioned in the centres, and a piece of pale pink ribbon, which was one of my buys at Ally Pallie.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed your visit. Happy Crafting X

My second Challenge for today is from a NEW Challenge Blog called Lili of the Valley. Check their Blog out, and maybe even try out their Challenges every week. So, for this first Challenge - Lili of the Valley Challenge No. 1 - "Welcome".
Being their first Challenge, the topic was "welcome", as I do not have very many Lili of the Valley products, I thought I would work with what I had. I chose to use Lili of the Valley stamp called Jasmine Glam, which has been coloured in with my Art-Kure Watercolour brushes, and then added a few "spots" of glitter on the dress, necklace, and head-piece. Then Jasmine was cut out using my Scalloped Oval Nesty, and the edges brushed lightly with a pale pink Chalk-Eye ink pad. Both backing papers I have used are also from Lili of the Valley. The card was then finished off with pink organza ribbon, and with the same ribbon, I made two bows. The two silk flowers have been added on the corner, and to balance it out, I have made a sentiment up on my computer "Welcome to your New Home - Let's Party".
Hope you enjoyed your visit, and please come back and visit soon! Happy Crafting X
Well, it's Friday, and almost the weekend! Can't wait for tomorrow, so I can spend the day walking around Ally Pallie, hopefully snapping up some good bargains. Well for today, I have two postings. The first is for Cute Card Thursday Challenge No. 29 - "Lots of Sparkle". I have used this cute Rachelle Anne Miller stamp called "Playtime". I have coloured the image in with my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes, and the cut it out using my Oval Nesty. I have then layered it up on a scalloped oval nesty. For my "sparkle", I have glittered the flowers and stems, the spots on the tortoise, and have also puts some glitter dots around the scalloped oval layer. For the added "sparkle" I have used these gorgeous silk flowers, which have gems and pearls in the centres.
Thanks for stopping by, and hope you enjoyed your visit. Happy Crafting X

One more Challenge for me today, and this one is Spiral Whisper Challenge No. 4 - "Flourishes". I have used Spiral Whispers stamp "Seemore and Cloudia", and have coloured them in with my watercolour brushes. I have layered the image on pale green cardstock, and added four brads, for a little added interest. I have then used two papers from Pink Petticoats "His 'h Hers" Paper Collection CD, the base paper being this lovely pale green "dottie" paper, and the second paper has these gorgeous "Swirls". The final touch is a pale green ribbon, and bow, which I kept off and Easter Egg earlier in the year. Me, I collect anything that looks like it could come in handy one day!
Thanks for dropping by, and love to see you again! Happy crafting X
Hello everyone, I am so enjoying my week off work, but unfortunately all good things have to come to an end, and I will be back to the grind-stone on Monday, so better enjoy the rest of my time off by doing something I enjoy.... Crafting! This Challenge I have completed, comes from a NEW Challenge Blog for Whiff of Joy. Check out their NEW Challenge Blog site, by clicking on my link. So, for this Whiff of Joy Challenge No. 1 - Sketch by Katharina, I have chosen to use Whiff of Joy's Melinda Helping Angel. Using my favourite Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes, I have coloured her in, and then cut the image out using my scalloped round Nestie, and have done the same for the second circle. My base backing paper is handmade using Moonshadow Inks. I have then used two pieces of left-over scraps of backing paper from a previous project, but they were originally printed from a Funky Hand Paper Collection CD. Each piece of paper has been layered on some lilac pearlescent cardstock. The sentiment has come from a rub-on, which was a FREEBIE out of a craft magazine. For the final touches, I have added a piece of lilac ribbon, and a lovely silk flower with a gem brad added to the middle.
Hope you enjoyed your visit, and pop back soon. Happy Crafting X

Last one from me today, and this Challenge was from A Spoonful of Sugar - Challenge 18 "So Charming". I have chosen Whiff of Joy's "Melinda Hugging Heart" stamp, which I have coloured in using my favourite Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes. She has then been mounted on a piece of red cardstock from my stash. The red backing paper is a download from Cuddly Buddly, and the Black and White dotty papers are both from Pink Petticoat's "His 'n Hers" Paper Collection CD. I was going for a bit of the "Valentines" theme with this card, so finished the card off with a strip of zebra print ribbon, and a handmade-paper heart, and a little bunch of paper roses. I have punched a brad through the bottom of the heart, and then hung my "Heart" charm, which I bought from "Accessorize".
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and I hope you enjoyed your visit! Happy Crafting X
For this Challenge from Arty Girlz Challenge No. 53 "Autumn", I have used Sugar Nellie's "Picking Apples". I have tried to use more of the Autumn colours when I coloured her in. The backing papers have come from Funky Hand's "Funky Seasons" Paper Collection CD, and the card has been finished off with some ribbon bought from my local cake decorating shop, and a flower and the bow have been put together from my craft stash. The base card is a gorgeous Chocolate Brown pearlescent cardstock.
Hope you enjoyed you visit, and please come back soon! Happy Crafting X
The next Challenge for today is from Papertake Weekly - Mellow Yellow/Children in Need. For this card I have chosen to use an Elzybells stamp called Daisy Canopy.
I have coloured the image in with my Art-Kure Watercolour brushes, and of course have gone a little wild with the "Yellow"!
Hope you have enjoyed your visit, and come back an visit soon! Happy Crafting X
Hi everyone, just a quick post from me today, it's my Birthday, and my hubby is taking me out shortly. This card is for Cutie Sunday Challenge - Sketch No. 11.
I have chosen this cute cat from the Penny Black T-for Transparent Collection called "Christmas Critters", and has simply been coloured in with my watercolour brushes. The cat has then been cut and layered on pale blue hammered cardstock. The smaller circles have also been cut from the pale blue hammered cardsstock, and I have used some snowflake stickers which wer a FREEBIE from a magazine a while back. I have used a metallic Blue embroidery thread to make my "ZIG ZAG", and then stamped a sentiment, and as a finishing touch, just added a blue brad in the middle if the sentiment.
Thanks for dropping in, an please come back and visit soon! Happy Crafting X

A quick Challenge posting from me this morning before I get stuck into the boring housework! My motivation for getting the housework done, is as soon as I get it finished, the sooner I can get down crafting again!!! This card is for Kaboodle Challenge No. 4 - "Non traditional Embellishments". This was a bit tricky at first, then I remembered I had received a pack of cards through the post for a holiday promotion. So, suddenly Vagas came to mind, and that is why I chose to use my "Showgirl" stamp. Then while I was placing the "cards" down to position them, another lightning bolt hit me, and I thought why not turn it into a 21st Birthday card. Also going with the red, black and white theme of the cards, I decided to use up a piece of the download paper from Kaboodle's first Challenge. Then to finish off the card, I have made a sentiment on my computer, and added a couple of Red paperclips to finish the card off.

Wow, this was a great Challenge! This Challenge is from Sarah Kay Challenge - Week 12 "Creative CD Cases". I have taken this opportunity to do something I have been meaning to do for a long time..... I always look at my "Storage" for my Nestabilities, and keep thinking to myself, that one day I may lose a few, and my idea was to store them in CD cases! Well when this Challenge came up, it was a "kick-start" for me to put my plan into action. So one down, few more to go...
I started off by stamping and colouring in my Sarah Kay image "Picnic of Daisies", and cut her, and the layer with my oval "Nesties". All the backing papers have been printed from Pink Petticoat Paper Collections. The very bottom backing paper was a FREEBIE download from Pink Petticoat, and the rest were from my favourite CD "His 'n Hers". The inside left side of the cover, I simply layered up in the different sizes of the "Nesties" various papers. On the "CD" side, I have cut out a piece of card out in the shape of a CD, and stuck "Double-sided" tape across it, then removed the tape, and "stuck" the "Nesties" on it. The double-sided tape will keep the nesties from moving around, and is not so sticky that it will leave a residue on your nesty. The back cover was just one piece of backing paper from my FREEBIE download from Pink Petticoat. My final step was to type a "tab" to describe which nesty is in the box, which I have stuck on the side of the CD, and also inside the CD, this will enable me to know exactly which set of nesties I have in which CD case.
Hope you enjoyed your visit to my blog, and please fell free to come back and visit anytime. Happy Crafting X
Yet, another Challenge for me today.... I am on leave this week, so I will be busy crafting as much as I can! This card is for Sketch Saturday Challenge - Sketch No. 17. This cute stamp is from High Hopes, and she is called "Ice Princess". I have chosen a lilac theme for this card, which starts off with the base card of Lilac pearlescent cardstock. The image has been layered up on the same colour cardstock, and both image and layer have been cut from "Circle" Nesties. The backing paper was a FREEBIE from a craft magazine, and the "dottie" paper and ribbons are leftover scraps from other projects (I hate throwing away papers, so I hoard every little bit!). For a final touch, I have placed four lilac brads in the corners, for a little added interest.
Thanks for stopping by, and hope you enjoyed your visit! Happy Crafting X
Another post from me today, and this one is for Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Challenge No. 15 "Decorate the inside of your card". For this Challenge, I have chosen two images from the Penny Black T-for Transparent Collection called "Bubbly".
The first image has been placed on the front of my "Gate-fold" card, and the second image has been stamped on the inside of my card. Both images have been coloured in with the watercolour brushes. The backing paper I have used is from Pink Petticoat's Paper Collection CD "His 'n Hers", and has been placed in each panel of the gatefold card, and a little strip used down down spine of the card inside. For the finished touch, I have used a sentiment, and a couple of flowers, and a few lilac gems. The sentiment inside the card is also off the "Bubbly" collection.
THanks for stopping by, and call back soon! Happy Crafting X
My Challenge I have completed for today is Friday Sketchers - Sketch No. 20. I have chosen Sugar Nellie's stamp "Kitty", and I have coloured her in using my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes. Because I had gone for yellos and oranges in my colouring, I decided to use those colours as my base colours for the card. All of these backing papers have been printed off Funky Hand's Paper Collection CD "Funky Seasons". I then punched three squares with one of my punches, and put them thru the Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" Embossing folder. The sentiment was stamped straight onto the pearlescent card. The card was finished off the three strips of Yellow ribbon, and two silk flowers.
Hope you enjoyed your visit, and please come back and visit soon! Happy Crafting X

Cute Card Thursday's Challenge No 28 - Food". I chose to use my new (not that new anymore, I have already used her once - lol) Whiff Of Joy stamp "Willow with Cookies" for this Challenge, and have coloured her in with my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes. Willow has then been layered up on Pink pearlescent cardstock. The two backing papers I have used, are my two favourites from Pink Petticoats Paper Collection CD "His 'n Hers". I just love this CD, it's so versitile! The sentiment has been stamped onto plain white cardstock, and layered up on a "Nesty" cut round scalloped pink card. These little sentiments are good for using up all you "Little" pieces of card left lying around your craftroom! The finishing touches are a pink piece of Organza ribbon, and pink brads from my craft stash!
Thanks for dropping in, and come back soon! Happy crafting X
This card I have made, is for the Arty Girlz Challenge No. 52 - "It's our BIRTHDAY!!".
Let me start off by saying "HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY ARTY GIRLZ!!". For this Challenge I have chosen to use Sugar Nellie's stamp "Dressing up Maggie". She has simply been coloured in with my Art-Kure Brushes, and a touch of glitter on her feather boa, and necklace, to add a little pizzazz! The base card has been layered up with a downloaded paper from Funky Fairy, and the other two little scraps I have used were from a Funky Hand Paper Collection CD. The card has then been finished off with two pink organza ribbons, and a silk flower, with a brad thru the centre. The sentiment was printed off my computer.
Yep, yet another from me this morning.....this card is for Elzybells Challenge - Sketch No. 2. I have chosen Elzybells stamp "Santa's Helper" for this card. They have been coloured in with the Art-Kure Brushes, and for a little extra texture, I have glittered the "fur" on Santa's clothes, the reindeers RED nose, the spots on the reindeers back, and finally the snow. The image was cut out, edged with a Lime
Green chalk eye, to take the harshness of the edges, and then layered up on pale green pearlescent cardstock. The two backing papers were off-cuts from a previous project, but were orginally printed off Cuddly Buddly downloads.
Hope you enjoyed you visit to my Blog, and thanks for dropping in, and please come back soon! Happy Crafting X
Another posting from me now, and this was for Daring Cardmakers Challenge - "All mixed up". I chose to use Stampingbella - "Bikababeabella". I chose this stamp, and the colouring, because I thought it could be given to a girl, or a boy! Bella has been coloured in with my Art-Kure Brushes, and the cut out with my Oval "Nesty", and again layered up on an Oval scalloped "Nesty". The blue plaid paper was printed off Crafters Companion "Papercrafts" CD. The sentiment was done on my computer, and also layered up on pale blue cardstock. To finish off the card, I have used a small piece of blue gingham ribbon, a few brads, and three blue gems in the corner.
Thanks for stopping by, and love to see you again. Happy crafting X
Good morning all you crafters out there, it's been a busy few days for me, but at last I have had a chance to post some Challenges. I have coloured the image in, using my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes. For a little added interest, I have glittered Charlotte's hat, and the bells on the reindeer. I have then layered the image up on Red, and Gold cardstock from my craft stash. The backing papers have both come from Cuddly Buddly downloads. The card was then finished off with a sentiment from Kameo Cards, and also layered up on red, and gold cardstock scraps.

One more from me today.... This Challenge is from Kaboodle Doodles - Challenge No. 3 "Tearing it up!". I have selected a NEW Joanna Sheen Stamp called "Messy Rabbit Bath Tub" (MR114), and once again using my good old faithfuls, my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes, I have coloured the image in. To give the "Bubbles" more impact, I have used Glossy Accents over the top of each bubble to give them the effect of looking like "Proper" Bubbles! Don't know how affective is looks on the photo, but on real-life they look better! I have then layered the image onto a piece of pale blue hand-made paper, which I have "torn" around the edges. The background papers have all been torn, and layered. I was trying for the effect of "Greens" for the GRASS, and "Blues" for the SKY, and the "Yellow" flower representing the SUN! I was very pleased with the effect I was trying to achieve.
The sentiment finished off the card, and this has come from the same Messy Rabbit Collection.
Thanks for taking the time to browse, and I would love it, if you came back and visited soon! Happy Crafting X
Another Challenge from me today, this on is from Papertake Weekly - Katharina's Sketch No. 11. I have used one of my new Whiff of Joy stamps, called "Carol Singing Charlotte". I decided not to go with the traditional Christmas Red, and opted to go for the shades of Blue instead. She has been coloured in with my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes. I have then cut out the image using my Round "Nesty", and layered it up on a pale blue pearlescent carstock also cut out from my Scalloped "Nesty". The snowflake backing paper has been placed at the bottom, and then I have embossed another piece of blue cardstock through my Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" Embossing folder. The card was then finished off with a small piece of dark blue organza ribbon, and a blue paper flower.
Hope you have enjoyed your visit, and pop back soon. Happy Crafting x

Once again, I have used my gorgeous little Gem Twins, from Spiral Whisper, which have been coloured in with watercolour brushes. I have "tarted" up their scarves with a little bit of glitter too! The dotty backing papers have come from my favourite Pink Petticoat Paper Collection CD "His 'n Hers", and my two centre layers, are pink and lilac pearlised cardstock, which I have simply used a corner punch on, to finish off the corners. THe finishing touch is a little piece of pink ribbon from my craft stash, which has been fixed to the card with two pink brads.

For today, I am posting a card for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Week 14 "A mans card, no blue". I have taken two images from the Penny Black 12 Days of Christmas Collection, and have coloured then in with the Watercolour Brushes.
I have cut both images out on my Oval "Nesty", and then layered them up on Pale Green pearescent card. I had a scrap of Funky Hands "Minty Madness" paper left, and used that as my backing paper. I have then used an off-cut from my pale green card, and layered it ontop of the minty madness paper, finishing that off with a piece of self-adhesive ribbon from WH Smith. The sentiment is also printed from the Minty Madness Download from Funky Hand.

Hello ladies, I am so excited today, my order of Whiff of Joy stamps arrived, and I could not wait to try them out, so todays Challenge for me is : Papertake Weekly - "Autumn Haze", I have chosen one of my new Whiff of Joy stamps called "Willow with Hot Chocolate". Isn't she beautiful? I love them all, and I can't wait to use some of the others too. Anyway, the Challenge was Autumn Haze, either using autumn stamps, colours or anything associated with autumn. I have tried to go with the look of autumn colours, so I have coloured Willow, in oranges, and browns. Then I have layered her on some pale yellow pearlescent cardstock. The base card is a lovely Chocolate brown pearescent cardstock. The backing paper I have printed off from Funky Hands "Funky Seasons" Paper Collection CD. I have finished the card off with some Orange Organza ribbon, and some paper flowers.
I really enjoyed this Challenge, don't know if it had anything to do with the excitement of my new arrival of stamps.
