CUTIE SUNDAY CHALLENGE NO. 49




Good morning everyone, hope all is well. I have a very quick post this morning, as I am off the Kettering, Northants for a Ceramic Workshop today, so an early start. I have one post today, and this card is for Cutie Sunday Challenge No. 49 - a wonderful Sketch from Guest Designer Nancy. What a great Sketch it was, and I have used one of the New Popcorn the Bear available from Crafters Companion, and this one is called Someone Special, and he has been coloured with Sukura Gel pens. The image has been cut to size, and layered on yellow and green card. The backing papers are from a NEW Basic Grey paper pad called June Bug, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, a paper flower with gem brad, a strip of green ribbon and some little green gems from my craft stash. SKETCH SATURDAY CHALLENGE NO. 58




My next card is for Sketch Saturday - Sketch No. 58, a fab sketch from Gill. This was a great Sketch, and had lots of fun. I have used a stamp from Faerie Song Art Stamps, and this lovely fairy is called Bryony. She has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens, and her wings glittered with a Quickie Glue pen and Crystal Glitter. The image has been cut to size, and layered on lilac and grey card. The backing papers are from one of my fav Basic Grey paper pads called Wisteria. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, a strip of ribbon, some paper flowers, and lilac gems. PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE - WEEK 56


Hi everyone, well it's Friday, and I am so looking forward to the weekend! Hope the weather holds out! I have two posts today, and my first card is for Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Week 56 - Colour Challenge in honour of the American Flag "Red, White and Blue". I have used one of the stamps from the Penny Black T-for Transparent Collection called Teddy and Company, and this adorable little fella has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens. The image has been cut with a round nesty, and layered on red, white and blue card. The backing papers are from a NEW Basic Grey paper pad called June Bug. I used a ribbon punch to punch a strip down the side of the card, and threaded red and white ribbon through. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, gem brads, paper flower, and some little red, white and blue buttons - all from my craft stash.

THE SECRET CRAFTER SATURDAY CHALLENGE NO. 39


And my next card today is for The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge No. 39 - 3 Ribbons. I have used a stamp from Victoria Case's Collection called Hearts and Hugs, which is exclusive to Susana's Custom art and Card Design, and this cutie is called Forever Friends, and has been coloured with Sukura Gel pens. The image has been cut with a Octagonal nesty, and layered on lilac and green card. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad called Euphoria, and to finish the card off - the 3 ribbons, a paper flower with pearl brad, and some lilac gems - all from my craft stash. FRIDAY SKETCHERS CHALLENGE NO. 59




Hi everyone, hope all is well. I have two posts today, and shall start off with a card for Friday Sketchers Challenge No. 59 - a great Sketch from Claudia Rosa. I have chosen one of the stamps from The Greeting Farm Collection called Rain, Now, Shine, so I presume that this one is "Shine", and she has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens. Her glasses have had a little Glossy Accents added to the lenses, to make them look like "glass". The image has been cut to size, and layered on red and yellow card. The backing papers are from a new Basic Grey paper pad called Lemonade, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, a strip of yellow ribbon and some little yellow buttons - from my craft stash.

THE SUGAR BOWL CHALLENGE NO. 14



Hi everyone, hope you are all well this Wednesday. Just think... one the downhill run to the weekend! I have a very quick post today, as I am totally swamped at work, this time of year everyone is going on Holiday, and the workload gets heavier. This card is for The Sugar Bowl Challenge No. 14 - a wonderful Sketch from Judy, and the option of having some "Sparkle" - using Bling, Shimmerz, Stickles, Glitter, Glimmer Mist etc. I have gone into my craft box, and pulled out one of the oldies from Sugar Nellie called Letter Box, and this adorable image has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens, and a few touches with my Art-Kure WC Brushes. I have used some glitter on the spots of the hat, ribbon and belt, using a Quickie Glue pen, and Crystal Glitter. The image has been cut to size, and layered on red and brown card. The backing papers are all from a Basic Grey paper pad called Infuse. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, paper flower with gem brad, a strip of brown ribbon and some red gems, all from my craft stash. WHIFF OF JOY ANNIVERSARY BLOG HOP - GUEST DESIGNER CALL

Hi everyone, just a quick post from me tonight for Whiff of Joy. Katharina will be celebrating Whiff of Joy's First Anniversary , and to celebrate, there will be a Party taking place on 25th July 2009 starting 7 pm on Katharina's Blog. Here is my card, following Katharina's fabulous Sketch, using one of my absolute favourites "Musing Melinda". She has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens, and her wings glittered using a Quickie Glue Pen and Crystal Glitter. The papers used are from a NEW Basic Grey paper pad called Lemonade. The sentiment is also from Whiff of Joy, and the card has been finished off with some pink ribbon and buttons, from my bottomless craft stash!

Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I have one post today, and this is a card for Whiff of Joy Challenge No. 37 - a Recipe - 3 Patterned papers, 3 Flowers and 1 Ribbon. I have chosen two stamps from Whiff of Joy - the first is called Willow sitting with floral wreath, and the second stamp is called Rose Swing. Both images have been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens. Willow has then been cut out, and layered over the Rose Swing with 1mm foam pads. The image has then been cut to size, and layered on pink and green card. The three patterned backing papers are all from a Basic Grey paper pad called Sultry. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, three paper flowers with gem brads, a strip a pink ribbon, and finally some pink gems, all from my craft stash. CUTIE SUNDAY CHALLENGE NO. 48




Hello everyone, hope you are all well. A very quick post from me this morning, as I am off to London today to go and see "The Lion King" musical. I am so excited, I can't wait! The card for today is for Cutie Sunday Challenge No. 48 - another fab Sketch. I have used a stamp from The Greeting Farm called Ballerina Anya, and she has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens, and some glitter added to her tiara using a Quickie Glue pen, and Crystal glitter. The image has been cut with a round nesty, and layered on pink card. All the other circles have been cut also using small, and large round nesties. The backing papers used are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Bittersweet, andthe card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, paper flowers and gem brads, and some pale pink gems - all from my craft stash. COLOUR CREATE CHALLENGE NO. 21


And my next card is for Colour Create Challenge No. 21 - Pistachio Green, Aqua and Powder Pink, with an option of using Buttons somewhere on your creation. TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS CHALLENGE NO. 10




And my final card for today is for Truly Scrumptious Challenge No. 10 - a great Sketch from Sharon. This Sketch had an additional challenge of using some of your neglected stash - be it some old stamps, papers or embellishments that you've forgotten you had! I have chosen to use a neglected Sugar Nellie stamp called Catch a Butterfly, and I just love her, I really should use her more often. The image has been coloured with a combination of Art-Kure WC Brushes, and Sukura Gel Pens. The image has been cut to size, and layered on lilac and grey card. I only have one quick post today, and this is my DT card for Creative Inspirations Challenge No. 12 - a Sketch from the talented Maxine, with a Fathers Day/Male theme. I have used one of the new stamps from Joanna Sheen's Lofty and Co. Collection, and this one is called PC Lofty. WHIFF OF JOY CHALLENGE NO. 36




Good morning everyone, hope everyone is well, and enjoying the lovely weekend. I had such a hectic day yesterday, I didn't even have time to post anything, so here I am today, catching up again! This card for today is for Whiff of Joy Challenge No. 36 - a fab Sketch from the very talented Heather. I have used one of my old Whiff of Joy stamps from the Spring Collection called Kneeling Willow, and she has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens. The image has been cut a label nesty and layered on pink card. Another layer was cut with the same label nesty from yellow card, and a piece of backing paper as the second layer. The backing papers are all from a Basic Grey paper pad called Eva. A little strip of pink card was also punched with a Martha Stewart. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, two yellow brads, some strips of pink ribbon, paper flowers with gem brads, and a few pale pink gems , all from my craft stash. SKETCH AND STASH CHALLENGE NO. 13




Hello everyone, hope you are all well, YIPEE it's Friday, just got to get through it, and the weekend is upon us. Hope the lovely weather will hold out! I have one post today, and this is a card for Sketch and Stash Challenge No. 13, a Sketch with an option - an "Animal" theme. I have also decided to rotate the Sketch, and have used one of my new Joanna Sheen stamps from her Messy Rabbit Collection called Sir Messy. He has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens, and his armour, and the "M's" have been covered with Glossy Accents for added texture. The image has been cut to size, and layered on green and brown card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Archiac. I have again used a piece of Jute as an element of the card. The little flag at the top of the card is from Whiff of Joy, and the stamped sentiment has been cut in the shape of a shield, along with the green and brown layers. The card has been finished off with two corners punch with a paper punch, some pale blue gems, and two brass brads, all from my craft stash.
