PENNY BLACK THANKS A BUNCH

Hello fellow bloggers and crafters, sorry for being such a bad blogger this week, but work seems to be taking a major chunk out of my days lately, and I hardly get to visit my loyal followers....I shall try my best over the next few days to catch up on everything that has been happening on your Blogs, but for now, here are a few cards I have made. The first card is for Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Week 18 - "Thanks a Bunch", which I have chosen one of the stamps from Penny Black T-for Transparent "Every which way" Collection. I have gone very PINK with this one...
My base card is a lovely pale pink pearlescent cardstock, which I have also used as my layer for the main image. The image has been coloured, and cut using a circle nesty, and the layer cut using a scalloped nesty. To soften the edges of the image, I have rubbed the edges with a pale pink chalk-eye inkpad. All the backing papers I have used are all scraps left over from other projects. I have stamped, and layered a "Thanks" sentiment, and finished the card off with a BIG Pink flower, and organza bow. Thanks for popping in, and hope you enjoyed your visit. Happy Crafting X
