PAPERTAKE WEEKLY CHALLENGE 30 03 09

Good morning crafters, hope you are all well. Looks like it is going to be a lovely day! I have a few posts, so I will start off with a card for Papertake Weekly Challenge - Easy as 1-2-3. Your card should include : 1 - Circle, 2 - Ribbons, and 3 - Stamps/Images. I have chosen this Sugar Nellie stamp called Demure, and she has been coloured with my WC brushes. She has then been cut with an Oval nesty, and layered on a piece of Round card, also cut with a nesty. The backing papers I have used are from a Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad called Eva. My second and third stamp were used for the sentiment, and the swirls around the main image. The two ribbons have been ties on either side of the image, and my circle is the base layer below my image. The card has been finished off with some paper flowers and gem brads from my craft stash.

DARING CARDMAKERS - COS I'M A WOMAN

My next card for today is for Daring Cardmakers Challenge - "Cos I'm a Woman!" - make a card in any style, any theme, and any recipient - as long as she is female. I have chosen one of Sugar Nellies new stamps called "Demure", and she has been coloured with a combination of WC Brushes, and Sukura Gel Pens. The image has been cut to size, and layered on pale peachy coloured card cut with scalloped rectangle nesties. The backing paper is from a Papermania 6x6 paper pad called "Exquisite", and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment from Lili of the Valley, and two colours of organza ribbon tied together, some paper flowers, and a few pink gems, all from my craft stash.
