THE SECRET CRAFTER SATURDAY CHALLENGE NO. 23

And my next card for today is for The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge No. 23, with the theme "Have your Cake and Eat it!". I have used an image from Penny Black's T-for Transparent Collection, called Critter Party, which has been coloured with my Art-Kure WC Brushes. For a little sparkle and texture, I have glittered the icing on the cupcake, and have put Glossy Accents on the candle and flame. The image was then cut with an oval nesty and layered on pink and cream card. I used a ribbon hole punch, and punched holes on either of the image, and threaded some ribbon through and simply tied a knot. The backing paper on the top is a Papermania paper from the Scrumptious paper pad, and the bottom paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad. The card has been finished off with some little buttons, paper flowers, with gem brads, and another strip of pink ribbon, all from my craft stash. Hope you have enjoyed your visit, and thanks for dropping by. Hope you have a lovely day.

The image has been cut an layered on some dark blue pearlescent cardstock, which had been run through a Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" Embossing Folder. The backing paper is from a Kaboodle download called "Pink and Blue", and to finish the card off a small strip of blue spotty ribbon, and a paper flower held together with a gem brad.
