DARING CARDMAKERS - THE SOUND OF MUSIC

And my next card is for Daring Cardmakers Challenge - The Sound of Music - make a card which is "Musically Inspired", anything goes, whether you use musical paper, or an image of an instrument - or even a song lyric. I was totally stumped with this Challenge, but then I remembered the Penny Black T-for Transparent "12 Days of Christmas" Collection, which has two musical images, of which this is one of them! I have coloured the image with Sukura Gel Pens, and then cut it out with an Oval nesty. The image has been layered on cream and pale green card, and the backing paper is from Kameo Cards. I ran a strip of cream card through a Martha Stewart "Doily" punch, and then attached this to a strip of the pale green card, which has been punched with a ribbon threading punch. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, paper flowers with pearl brads, and finally some cream ribbon, all from my endless craft stash. Many thanks for stopping by, and hope you have a lovely day!

Oh Lou, you have so managed the dare this week!
Your card is beautiful with all that detail and it's made me smile from ear to ear.

I love that Penny Black image and in fact I have the Margaret Sherry cross stitch charts here waiting to be stitched.

Thanks for joining in with the DCM’s dare this week (or maybe that should say last week, I’m a bit behind Lol!)
