CUDDLY BUDDLY BUDDLYS STABLES

My next card has been made for a NEW Challenge from Simply Fairies. Kim has designed this sketch herself, and is hoping to make this Sketch Challenge a weekly event on a Friday. Check her blog out, and have a go. The stamp I have used is from a stamp collection from Cuddly Buddly called "Buddly's Stables". I have coloured this image with my Art-Kure WC Brushes, and have then cut the image out with an Oval Nesty, and also layered it on some card cut with a slightly bigger Oval Nesty. The backing papers have been printed from Funky Hands CD called "Funky Seasons". The ribbons were bought from my local cake decorating shop, and to finish the Sketch off, a paper flower, and brad from my craft stash. Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Crafting X

LILI OF THE VALLEY COOL JASMINE

This card has been made for Lili of the Valley Challenge No. 7 - "Card for a Teenager". I have chosen Lili of the Valley stamp "Jasmine - Cool", and has been coloured with my WC brushes. The image has been cut with an Oval nesty, and also layered on a Scalloped Oval nesty. The two pieces of backing paper in the backbround have both been printed from Summertime Designs download called "Awareness", and they have been separated by a piece of spotty ribbon from my craft stash. The abstract background is actually a preprinted card which I have cut down. I had a buying frenzy a while back on QVC, and I bought a box of preprinted cards with envelopes, and have never used them, so I decided that maybe I should try cutting them up and using them as funky backgrounds. The sentiment has been printed from a Funky Hand CD, and has been backed with pink card, and a Pink brad to finish the card off. Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting X

SIMPLY SPARKLING BODICE

Hello crafters, hope you have has a good weekend.... A couple of posts from me tonight, and the first one is for Papertake Weekly Challenge - "Simply Sparkling" - glitter, gems, or anything that is "simply sparkling". I have used a stamp of a Bodice, which I have stamped with Black Stazon, onto Acetate. I have then put clear glue on the back of the Bodice, and covered with Crystal Glitter. Once the glue dried, I cut the Bodice out, and cut small pieces of ribbon, and stuck them to the bottom of the Bodice to form a skirt. I then layered the Bodice on silver and black cardstock, which have been cut with Oval nesties. The main background paper has been printed from Pink Petticoats Paper Collection CD called "His 'n Hers". To finish the card off, I have used the same ribbon that I used for the skirt, to fix two strips at the top of the card, and finally an organza ribbon. Thank for dropping by, and Happy Crafting X

RACHELLE ANNE MILLER RAINY DAYS

And, my final card for tonight is for a NEW Challenge Blog Magnolia VS Stampavie. This weeks Challenge for Week 1 is "Sketch it". For this card I have chosen Rachelle Anne Millers Collection Lilo and Milo "Rainy Days". The image has been stamped, and coloured with my favourite Art-Kure WC Brushes. It has then been cut down to size, and layered on pale blue cardstock. The edges of my image card have been brushed lightly with a pale blue inkpad to blend the image with the base card. The pink backing paper was printed from a Funky Hand Paper Collection CD, and the blue paper was printed from a Pink Petticoat Paper Collection CD. I then used paper flowers for the half circle on the card, and alternated pink and blue flowers, and added gems in the centres of the flowers. A strip of pink "spotted" ribbon, and a pink spotty bow have been placed at the top of the card, and the final element is the sentiment at the bottom of the card, which came as a FREEBIE of embellishments with a craft magazine.

ELZYBELLS MISCHIEVIOUS

Hello all my fellow crafters, it's the weekend, and to start my weekend off, I have a couple of posts tonight. My first card is for Kaboodle Doodles Challenge No. 10 - "Christmas Brights". I decided that I would like to try and stick with a little bit of a Traditional Christmas colour which was Red, and my alternative "Bright" colour was Blue. For this Challenge I have used an Elzybells stamp called "Mischievious", which has been stamped and coloured with my WC Brushes. For added texture, I have glittered the snow, and the snowballs, and for the fur I decided to try some Liquid Applique. "Note to self".... Don't put this application on until after you have cut image out with nesty...... Clever me, I didn't do that, now I have FLAT fur. Anyway..... The image and layer have both been cut with Scalloped Rectangled Nesties. Both backing papers have been printed from a Kaboodle Doodle download called "All Stars". And to finish off the card, some red gems in two opposite corners.

PENNY BLACK FIREWORKS

This card has been made for Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Week 21 "Get Sparkly - Bonfire Night". This was quite a hard one to do, but I followed the inspiration of the lovely DT cards. I used two images from Penny Black T-for Transparent "Critter Party" Collection. Once I had coloured the images in, I cut both images with an Oval nesty, as well as the Dark Blue pearlescent cardstock layers. I then cut another piece of the same cardstock, and "Doodled" some Fireworks on the card with a Quickie Glue Pen, and then covered them with glitter. This was then layered on a piece of Silver card. The backing paper was printed from Crafters Companion CD called "Occasions. And the final touch was a stamped sentiment also layered on the blue cardstock. SUGAR NELLIE STRAWBERRY TEA

My second card posting for today is for Friday Sketchers Challenge No. 26. I absolutely fell in love with this cute image when I saw it, and just had to buy the stamp. The stamp is from Sugar Nellie, and is called "Strawberry Tea". I have coloured the image with my WC Brushes, and cut it out with an Oval Nesty, which has again been layered on an Orange cardstock also cut with a Scalloped Oval nesty. The papers used have been printed from a Funky Hand Paper Collection CD. The ribbon I used is great too, found it in a bargain bin in my local craft shop, and what I love about it, is that on both sides of the ribbon are TWO different colours, so you can pick and choose which side you would prefer to use. 8ft of Ribbon for 99p. So I have used two strips of this ribbon, and to finish the card off, a paper flower from my crafty stash! Thanks for taking the time to drop by, and Happy Crafting X

ORIENTAL FANTASY FELINA

This card has been made for the Daring Cardmakers Challenge - "Scaredy Pants!!". I cheated a little on this one as I have already used up all my "Halloween" stamps on other Challenges. I was actually clearing my hobby room a little, when I came across this topper, and thought it could pass for a Halloween theme. This is a topper printed off a CD from Little Lou's Craft Supplies, and it is a CD called Oriental Fantasy 3. I simply printed off the image, and layered it on plain white cardstock, and then ran an Inkpad around the edges. I then put a piece of Black cardstock through the Cuttlebug "Spider Web" Embossing Folder. The backing paper is a download from Printable Heaven. And the final touch is an Epoxy Brad, and sentiment. Hope you enjoyed your visit, and thanks for stopping by. Happy Crafting X

WHIFF OF JOYS WILLOW WITH HOT CHOCOLATE

This card has been made for Cute Cards Thursday Challenge No. 35 - "Cheers". The only stamp I could think of that any kind of "Drink" theme was this gorgeous stamp from Whiff of Joy called "Willow with Hot Chocolate". I really didn't mind using this stamp again, as I absolutely love this image. I have coloured Willow in with my Art-Kure Watercolour Brushes, and cut the image using my round nesty. I also cut a pearlescent pink, and chocolate brown layer also using my nesties, and layered them all up together. I then ran a scrap piece of pink cardstock through a Cuttlebug "Bubbles" Embossing Folder, and layered this on the same Chocolate brown cardstock and held them together using some Brown brads. The backing paper was printed from Pink Petticoats Paper Collection CD called "His 'n Hers". The sentiment was printed from a Funky Hand CD, and layered on a scrap of Pink cardstock. And the finishing touches were two pearl brads on either side of my image, and an organza ribbon. I am rather happy with this card when I had finished it, I did not know where I was going with it, but the Brown and Pink colour combination has really turned out well! Thanks for taking the time to stop in and visit. Happy Crafting X

LILI OF THE VALLEY POLAR BEAR IGLOO

This card has been made for Lili of the Valley Challenge No. 6 - "Create a Christmas Card". So for this Challenge I have used Lili of the Valleys stamp called "Polar Bear Igloo". This was really easy, as I only needed to used one colour. I did however, highlight the Polar Bears ears with a little Pink too! I also added a little glitter for the snow in the front of the Igloo. I cut the image to size, and layered it on a scrap of Pale Blue Glittered cardstock. My backing paper was printed from Funky Hands Paper Collection CD called "Yule be Funky". I punched out some white and blue snowflakes, and stuck the Blue snowflakes on the image. I liked the way the Polar Bears were looking quite enquisitive, so I tried to place the snowflakes, so it looks like they were watching the flakes falling. Thanks for taking the time to visit my Blog, and Happy Crafting X
