Down on the Farm

Hello everyone. I have taken up the Challenge today from Penny Black Saturday Challenge No. 7 - "Down on the Farm".

I have combined two of the Penny Black Stamps - Cheers (3476H), and Bikini (3468H), to make this "Bon Voyage" card.

If I had stayed out too long in the sun today, I think I probably would have looked like the little pig on this card - slightly sunburnt!

Cool Yule!

Hello All, Hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather we are having.

My Challenge for today is : Cool Yule, from Paper Take Weekly .

I found this Stamp with this cute little girl, with her Reindeer pal, and thought "Cool".

So here it is....

Background papers have been used from Funky Hand's Paper Collection CD "Yule be Funky", quite appropriate don't you think!

ERA OF SHOES

Hello Everyone. Today I have taken up Challenge No. 44 - "Era's" from Arty Girlz Challenge. I have not chosen an "Era" as such, but have rather gone for an "Era" of Shoes. What girl doesn't like her shoes!

I have made a background paper from Moonshadow Inks, and then stamped shoes all over the background. The main Shoe images have been stamped onto acetate, and glittered from the back.

LIFE IS IN BLOOM

As you can see I have been a "Eager Beaver", and have made another card for another Challenge....

This is Challenge 20 "Things that Grow", set by the Cute Card Thursday .

I have made a "Shaker" card, using the gorgeous big stamp from Printworks - "Life is in Bloom" (JB3301), which is available from Stamp Addicts . The little flowers inside the "shaker" were stamped on shrink-plastic.

Again, this was a lovely Challenge, and I really enjoyed doing it.

Thanks

PEN PAL

I have missed a few days of taking part in all the lovely Challenges there have been this week, so here I am catching up....

This Challenge was set on Card Grotto - "Blogoversary Round One" Sketch.

I have used Twinkling H2O's on a Sugar Nellie Stamp called "Pen Pal" from Funky Kits - isn't she cute?

The backing papers are from one of the many lovely Paper Collection CD's from Funky Hand.

Enjoy!

THANK YOU

Hello Everyone,

Wow, what a surprise when I logged on this morning.

I have won the Penny Black Challenge No. 6 "Snow much fun".

I am truly delighted, and I just want to thank everyone for taking the time to have a look at my blog. Also many thanks to Sir Stampalot for sponsoring the Prize, I can't wait to get my prize, and have a play.

I have only been "Blogging" for a week, and I absolutely luv it, can't wait to log on everyday, and see what Challenges have been posted.

Thanks again......

Louise

CLAUDIA THE ARTIST

Today I have taken up the Challenge from Paper Take Weekly .

Katharina's Sketch No. 7

I have just received this lovely stamp from Funky Kits, and I could not wait to try it out.
The stamp is by Sugar Nellie, and this is called "Claudia the Artist".
I am sure any "girly" girl would love to receive a card made from this design.

QUEEN OF EGYPT

Just a quick card for the Friday Sketchers - Sketch No. 11.

The image was taken from a Kanban A4 Decoupage Sheet, and the Backing Papers came off Joanna Sheen's "Egyptian Adventure" CD.
I have tried to roll the corner of the Backing paper to give the look of a scroll.

LET IT SNOW

This was the perfect opportunity to use this stamp which I have had for years (Sled Fun Friends - 351J), in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Challenge No. 6 - "Snow Much Fun".

Snowflake backing paper was used from Pink Petticoat Paper Collection CD "Doodle-icious Christmas".

I also had great FUN doing this Challenge.

AFRICAN QUEEN

I have taken up the Challenge today from Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 19 - "Animals only". I have used Moonshadow Inks from The Stamp Man to create a Sunset, and then I then used 2 stamps from Stamp Addicts - African Queen (The Artful Stamper 1397N), and African Safari Cube (Judikins 67271) to complete the Safari scene. The background paper is from one of the Paper Collection CD's from Pink Petticoat.

OUT OF AFRICA 2

This card was made from Recycling a scrap of Zebra print fabric, as the Background. The "Buffalo" topper was also recycled from and old Birthday card which I cut up.

OUT OF AFRICA

This is my very first posting.... I have taken my first challenge from Arty Girlz Challenge for "Male/Men". This card has been created using some Recycling as well. I had some scraps of Zebra print fabric, which I have used as a Background. The elephant is made from Coconut shell. The Guinea Fowl feather has some added interest, by sticking some glass beads on the end.
