Well ladies, I certainly have been busy today. I have yet another Challenge completed today, and this one was a "mammoth one" (Me, I don't do things in small doses). The Challenge was from Arty Girlz Challenge - Challenge No. 50 - "Alter it". Well I thought for a while on this one, and then suddenly this hit me like a steam train. I have been thinking for a while, that I do not have a very good storage system for my Unmounted Stamps. I was thinking of just using a plain folder with plastic sleeves, but then this idea sprang into my head. I have used a Photo Album, not the self adhesive one, but the Album that has the "Pockets". I bought this Album from WH Smith, and have chosen a few of my "Unmounted" stamps, and stamped them up, and coloured them in. I then went a bit mad, and placed them all over the outside of the Album, and then dotted some flowers and bows around the front as well. The album came with a clear dust cover on the front, which will protect my cover, very well.
Inside tha Album, I have cut card, the size of the pockets, and have stamped the images on the card of some of my unmounted stamps, and have then placed one of these cards in each pocket, then behind this image, will be where I store that particular stamp.
Here I have shown an example of the first page. This is definately an on-going Project, and once I have got everything organised, I will put an INDEX on the front cover.
You could even take this a step further, and stamp up a load of images, colour them up, and store them in the pockets as well, ready to make cards whenever you need one in a hurry.

Wow Louise you have been busy! Your album is a great idea, I think I might have to copy that as I have been thinking lately that I need to store unmounted stamps differently as they are currently in a hat box! Thanks so much for the inspiration!
