DT CARD CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS CHALLENGE NO. 13

And my second post today is my DT card for Creative Inspirations Challenge No. 13, which is my very first Challenge setting a theme. My theme is "Something Old/Something New" -Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue....... it does not necessarily mean you have to make a wedding card.... - something old could be something you have had in your stash which you have not used for a long time- something new - a new stamp, paper - anything new in your stash- something borrowed - a borrowed stamp from a friend, or even an element ie. embellishment "borrowed" off a card you have made before- something blue - there has to be something on your card, which needs to be Blue.
Please leave description of items used under your creation's on your blogs so we can see!

I am also donating the Prize for the Challenge, and consists of :

1 x Papermania Clear Stamps - Claire Curds Signature Range - Stamping Chic Party
3 x metres Pink Spotty Ribbon
1 x Making Memories pack of ribbon and brads (yellow/pink)
1 x Papermania Embellishment Trio (Pink)
1 x C6 pack of 10 Pearlescent Cards with envelopes (5 assorted colours - 2 of each)
1 x Basic Grey 6x6 Paper Pad (Cupcake)

So, here is my card for the Challenge.

Something old - a Papermania 6x6 paper pad called Exquisite from my craft stash

Something new - New Whiff of Joy stamp called Wedding Carriage

Something borrowed - jewellery fittings ie. chain and jump rings from my Jewellery stash

Something Blue - Blue bench, and hearts on the Carriage

The image has been coloured with a combination of Sukura gel Pens and Art-Kure WC Brushes. The brides veil has been glittered with a Quickie Glue pen and crystal glitter, and the two blue hearts have been covered with Glossy Accents, for a little added texture.
The image has been cut to size, and layered on pink and silver card.
To finish the card off a stamped senitment, two strips of self-adhesive pink pearls, a paper flower with pearl brad, and silver heart charm - from my craft stash.

Many thanks for stopping by, and hope you will be able to join us for the Challenge this fortnight, and be in with a chance to win my srummy prize! Happy Crafting X
