And my next card is for Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Week 46 - "Anything Goes" - challenge yourself to something new ... then let your creativity run wild. I have chosen to make a card, nothing new, but I have always wanted to make a card using a "Shoe Lace" effect, so I thought I would take this opportunity to do just that. I have used a Penny Black stamp called "Butterfly Wishes", which I bought at Ally Pally in a Bargain Bin, and it has been coloured with Sukura Gel Pens. The image has been cut with Octagonal nesties, and layered on cream and pale green card. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad called "Perhaps". I then marked where I wanted my shoe-lace, and punched the holes, and finished them off with eyelets, and then threaded the ribbon through. I stamped a sentiment on scrap card, and cut it out with a Tag nesty, and also threaded cream ribbon through the tag. The card has been finished off with some paper flowers, and pearl brads from my craft stash. Many thanks for stopping by, and hope you have a great day!
