PENNY BLACK HOLLY DAY CRITTERS

Good morning all my fellow Bloggers, and crafting friends, it's a lovely sunny day today, and I am rearing to go and craft, but before I do so, I have a few posts to do. My first post for today is for Papertake Weekly Challenge - "Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!". I have used one of the stamps from Penny Blacks T-for Transparent range, called "Holly Day Critters". This has been stamped and coloured, and also glittered the SNOW. The image has then been cut with a round nesty, and layered on white, and blue glittered cardstock. My base card is a white linen textured card, and I started off by embossing some snowflakes using a Denami Design stamp, all over the card in a random fashion. I then masked off a section of the spine of the card, and rubbed a Blue Brilliance Inkpad down the spine to create a border. I then punched out some small snowflakes, and "dotted" them all around the card in the areas where I had embossed snowflakes. I topped each snowflake with a silver or blue gem. The card was finished off by placing the main image on the card, and a stamped sentiment "Let it Snow"! Thanks for taking the time to stop by, and Happy Crafting X
