DT CARD CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS CHALLENGE - A SKETCH

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. I have one post today, and this is my DT card for Creative Inspirations Challenge - a Sketch from myself. This fortnights Challenge is also a DT Call, as I have decided to step down. I have used a stamp from Magnolia, and this has been coloured with Copics. One of the first times I have used these lovely pens. Not very good, but I am sure practice will make perfect. I have cut the image out, and layered her on lilac card using foam pads to extra dimension. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Eva, and to finish the card off - a stamped sentiment, ribbon, brads and some gems from my craft stash. Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I just don't know where the days are going to anymore, they just seem to be flying past. Maybe it's because I have been so busy at work. Anyway, I have a card today for my contribution as Guest Designer for It's a Crafters Companion Challenge No. 11 - a Sketch (which I have rotated), but also adding the following elements :

Blue, White and Silver

Shaker

Ribbon

I have used one of the stamps from the Popcorn the Bear Collection, and this one is called "Angel Wishes", and this has been coloured with Twinkling H2O's. Inside the Shaker, I have put stars, beads, and blue and silver micro beads. The backing paper is from an 8x8 Papermania paper pad. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, paper flower with spacer and pearl brad, and some silver gems - all from my craft stash.

Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I only have one card today, and this is my DT card for Creative Inspirations Challenge - Pockets. We want to see a

on your card or project which could be anything crafty,as long as you have a pocket incorporate
in your creation.

I have used a stamp from a Special Edition Ornament Collection from Elizabeth Bell which is available from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design, and this one is called "Three French Hens", and she has been coloured with a combo of Art-Kure WC Brushes, Sakura Gel Pens and also Twinkling H2O's. The image has been cut out and layered on green card cut with an Oval Nesty, to form a tag. The backing papers on my card are from a Basic Grey paper pad, and to finish the card - a stamped sentiment, a little organza ribbon and some Dew Drops, all from my craft stash.

Hello everyone, hope you are all well. It's Wednesday, and half way through the week, cannot wait for the weekend! I have one post today, and this is my Guest Designer DT card for Whiff of Joy Challenge No. 55 - a colour combo Orange, Brown and Ivory. The stamp I have used comes from the Whiff of Joy Winter 2009 Collection, and this one is called "Oakley with Christmas Bauble", which has been coloured with Twinkling H2O's. The image has been trimmed down and layered on ivory, brown and orange card. The backing papers are from a My Minds Eye paper pack called Bloom and Grow. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, ivory satin ribbon, a paper flower with pearl brad, and some pearls - all from my craft stash. Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I have one post today, and this is a card for Friday Sketchers Challenge No. 77. I have used a gorgeous stamp by Victoria Case, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. The image has been cut with a round nesty, and layered on blue and green card. I also punched some snowflakes from white pearlescent paper, and stuck them round the edge of the circle. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad called Eskimo Kisses, and to finish the card off - a stamped sentiment, blue Dew Drops, and some gems from my craft stash. Hello everyone, hope you are all well. Sorry I have not been around for a few days. The days are just flying by, and I don't seem to be getting anything done, but today I have a card for my Guest DT spot on It's a Crafters Companion Challenge No. 10. This was a Sketch (which I have rotated) with a twist to also include the following :

Embossing (any kind)

I have used one of the Popcorn the Bears, called "Santa Bear", and he has been coloured with Twinkling H2O's, and once again all the fur "Fluffed up" with Liquid Applique. The image has been trimmed down and layered on red, white and gold card. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad called Wassail. I also ran two strips of pearlescent white card through a Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" Embossing Folder, and then layered them on gold card. I also added a strip of white lace, with red ribbon down the centre of the card. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, red organza ribbon, and some red gems - all from my craft stash. VC STAMP CHALLENGE NO. 23

Now onto a card for a Challenge, and this card is for VC Stamp Challenge No. 23 - a sketch with a twist.... No Layers! That was really hard for me, as I love my layers, but I hope this meets the criteria. I have used this adorable fella from Victoria Case called Lil Snowman, and he has been coloured with Twinkling H2O's, and again his hats fur "fluffed up" with Liquid Applique. The image has been trimmed down, and mounted on pale blue card. There was no backing paper used, only some snowflakes embossed with glitter for the background. A pearlescent blue ink pad was run down the side of the card, and then topped with a white organze ribbon and bow. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment and a few pale blue gems for added interest. Thanks for popping by, and have a lovely day!

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. I am so excited today, as I was lucky enough to win "Guest Designer" spot on Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog for the month of November. So here is my first card, and this is for Challenge No. 54 - a fabulous Sketch from Jane. I have used one of my old favs from Whiff of Joy called "Lizzie with Muff", and she has been coloured with Twinkling H2O's, and all the fur "fluffed" up with Liquid Applique. The image has been trimmed down and layered on green and cream card. The papers are from 12x12 sheets from Fancy Pants called On the Tree and Yuletide Greetings. Hello everyone, hope you are all well. A miserable day today here in Essex, pouring with rain! I hate driving in the rain, especially motorways! I have two posts today, and my first card is for Sketch and Stash Challenge No. 22, for which I have used a Sugar Nellie stamp which was specially made for Charity, and this one is called "Cherub". The image was stamped, and then the little cherub masked off, and the background sponged with a few various colours of Chalk Eye Inkpads. The wings of the Cherub were also glittered for some added interest. The backing papers are from a new paper pad I bought from Crafty Individuals called "Trees", and to finish the card off - a stamped sentiment, brads, gems and some lilac organza ribbon, all from my craft stash.

There is only one posting from me today, and this is my DT card for Creative Inspirations Challenge - Doodling -Somewhere on your card we want to see Doodling so get that creative flair and pens a doodling. I have used a stamp from Victoria Case which is exclusive to Susana's Custom Art and Card Design, and this cutie is called "Game Time". The image has been coloured with a combo of Sakura Gel Pens and Twinkling H2O's, and then trimmed to size and layered on pink and green card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad. I have "doodled" around the edge of my card, and also tried to doodle some flowers, but I must admit freehand is not my forte'. Hello everyone, hope all is well, and that you have enjoyed your weekend. I only have one post today, and this is my DT card for Creative Inspirations Challenge - "Numbers" - “A Special Card or Project with Numbers on it”. I have used a stamp from Magnolia called Guitar Edwin, and he has been coloured with a Combo of Sakura Gel Pens and Art-Kure WC Brushes. The image has been cut with a round nesty, and layered on blue and green card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Archiac. The ribbon was from a friend of mine who had bought some Denby plates, and the ribbon was from the packaging. The guitar charm has had some tiny blue gems added, as it had little indentations, which were a perfect fit for the gems. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, and a "25" stamped too, and finally some pale blue gems, all from my craft stash. Hi everyone, hope you are all well. So sorry I have not been around the past week, but our Internet Router burnt out last Saturday, and we have waited a week for another Router to be sent from Sky. So I am now back in Blogland, and boy have I missed it! I have one card to post today, which should have actually been posted last Monday, but I couldn't. This card is for It's a Crafters Companion Challenge No. 8, which I was lucky enough to be chosen for a Guest Designer spot for 4 Challenges, so this is my first card as a Guest Designer. The Challenge was a fabulous Sketch, and I have used a stamp from Popcorn the Bear Collection called "Party Time", and he has been coloured with a combo of Sakura Gel Pens and Twinkling H2O's. The image has been cut to size, and layered on green and yellow card. The backing papers are from a paper pad from Making Memories called Funky Vintage, and this was part of a pressie for my Birthday from one of my blogging buddies Linda (Lianna Designs). Hi everyone! Well it's the weekend, and hopefully I can relax a little. I am off to Ally Pally today though for the Annual Knit and Stitch Show with a few of my friends. I have one post today, and this card is for Pollycraft Monday Challenge No. 25 - Five "S" Words...... Make a creation with the Five "S" words :

I have used one of the new stamps from Pollycraft called "Deck the Halls", and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. The fur has been made, using Diamond Sparkle Flowersoft. The image has been trimmed to size and layered on pink, white and mint green card. The backing papers are from a 6x6 paper pack from Crafts House called Winter Wonderland, which was perfect for this Challenge. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, a strip of ribbon and some handmade snowflakes using a combo of two sizes of punches, and some gems - all from my craft stash. Hi ladies, apologies for not being around the last few days. It's just been one of those weeks! So glad it is almost the weekend, so I can chill out a bit and relax. I have one post today, and this is a card for It's a Crafters Companion Challenge No. 7 - Beccys Sketch. I have used this cute stamp from Popcorn the Bear Collection called "Snow Love", and this has been coloured with a combo of Sakura Gel Pens and Twinkling H2O's. The snowman has also been glittered using a quickie glue pen and crystal glitter. The fur on their hats has been "fluffed" up with Diamond Sparkle Flowersoft. The snowmans mouth has been accented with little black beads, and small black buttons added for his buttons. The image has been cut out and layered on pink card with foam pads. The pink card was cut with an oval nesty, and then run through a snowflake Embossing Folder. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad called Eskimo Kisses, and to finish the card off - a stamped sentiment, a strip of pink ribbon, some paper flowers with spacers and pearl brads, two pink buttons, and a few silver gems - all from my craft stash. Two posts today, and my first card is for The Sugar Bowl Challenge No. 20 - a wonderful Sketch from Gayle, with the inclusion of "Paper Piecing". And my second card today is for Anyone for Anya Challenge No. 5 - "Funky Flowers" - see something flowery on your cards. I have used one of the stamps from The Greeting Farm "Miss Anya Dressy" Collection, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. The image has been cut with a round nesty, and layered on pink and pale yellow card. The backing papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Porcelain. I made my "funky flowers" using about 5cm of satin ribbon, and loosely stitched along the bottom of one side of the ribbon, then pulled the stitching together to form a gather, and then stitched the two short sides together. The flowers were finished off with a spacer and pearl brad, and then positioned on top of a slightly bigger paper flower. All the "fur" has been covered with Liquid Applique and fluffed up for added texture. The image has been cut with an oval nesty and layered on silver and pink card. And my final card for today is my DT card for Creative Inspirations Challenge - a wonderful Sketch from DT member Jenni. Jenni has also brought out some lovely Digi images, check them out they are fab, and only 99p each! I have used one of Jenni's digi images called "Sweet Snowbaby", and this image was printed onto heat resistant acetate and then completely coloured in with glitter, using clear drying glue. The image was then layered on white and blue card and fixed together with Blue brads. The backing papers are all from a Basic Grey paper pad called Figgy. I made my own snowflakes using paper flowers dipped in glitter, with spacers and pearl brads. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment and a strip of ribbon all from my craft stash. I ran a strip of yellow/orange card through a Martha Stewart punch, and then again through a Cuttlebug Embossing folder to get the "zig-zag" effect. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, paper flowers with gem brads, a strip of ribbon, and some green gems - all from my craft stash.

STAMPAVIE AND MORE CHALLENGE NO. 59

My next card is for Stampavie and More Challenge No. 59 - "Love". What better way of showing "Love", than getting married, so my card for this Challenge is a Wedding card. I have used a new stamp of mine from Tina Wenke called Wedding Squirrels, and this has been coloured with Sakura Gel Pens. The image has been cut with an Oval nesty, and layered on dusty pink mirri card, and silver textured card. The backing paper is from a Papermania paper pad called Exquisite, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, white ribbon and silver gems - all from my craft stash.

INKY IMPRESSIONS CHALLENGE NO. 13

Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I have quite a few posts today, so will get right down to it, with a card for Inky Impressions Challenge No. 13 - a Birthday Card. It is Inky Mama's birthday in September, and this is the reason for the "Birthday" theme. I have used Inky Impressions stamp called Lili's Stuffed Bunny, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel pens. The image has been cut with an Oval nesty, and layered on pink card. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad called Perhaps. I have also used two strip of Whitewash card which has been rubbed down, punched, and ribbon threaded through. The card has been finished off with a stamped sentiment, and little pink gems - all from my craft stash.

DT CARD CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS CHALLENGE NO. 17

Hi everyone, hope you have all had a lovely weekend, and are rearing to start another week. I have one post today, and this is my DT card for Creative Inspirations Challenge No. 17 - Lilac/Purple and Grey. This is my choice of Challenge, and these are one of my favourite colour combos. I have used a stamp from The Greeting Farm, from the Miss Anya Collection, and she has been coloured with Sakura Gel pens. The image has been trimmed down and layered on grey and lilac card. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey paper pad called Wisteria, and to finish the card off, a stamped sentiment, some paper flowers with Shoe charms, and some purple Dew Drops - all from my craft stash.
